After years listening, I’ve realized Koffi inverted the chorus. The deuxième voix dominate over the premier voix.  Also, not every vocalist was included, so it really gave it a different sound.

Montana, Koffi, and Gypson (in the background) really stood out on chorus.

The sebene was too deadly. Bébé Kero and Brigade were a force to be reckoned with. Cambodge absolutely hammering the drums.

Generation Bercy! Man, it's getting to the point where I'm starting to water up listening to these classics. This album will never get old.

I don't think Koffi and Quarter Latin will ever know how much this album was appreciated! From the instrumentation to the vocals, this song is perfection.

It's a shame Cambodge never lasted with QL, he was fantastic behind the drums and a worth successor to Champion!

Quick question? Apparently this song was composed well before being placed on this album, yall remember Pierrette Adams's song Feelin from her album Absolument?

Even Koffi has a quick cameo in the song at the 1:40 minute mark. Does anyone know the story behind this? I had no idea Koffi even knew her, let alone collaborated with her.

Even though I am a Werrasonique I think that Effrakata (Especially Bilan, Generation Bercy & Gilba) plus the album with Loi are the best albums of Congolese modern era music, even though A-La Queue Leu Leu had a great success and Kibuisa with Operation Dragon being a great generique are great Koffi simply knows how to make music to an higher level, is always creative and never monotonous.

SAME! I remember, christmas 2001, the 1st time I heard generation bercy, I was only 7 yr & I told myself "what a chance to be congolese"

Effrakata was basically the sequel to Noblesse Oblige and V12.

Effrakata is the most powerful album of Koffi! A classic.
I bought the original cd yesterday and the album is still GOOD!

In my opinion, i would say that it is the continuation of V12 (his very very very best album) and Loi. The sebenes of Loi was more powerful than Noblesse Oblige and the sebene of Effrakata are very very powerful. Effrakata is a mix of V12 for his beautiful words and "Loi" for his very dancing sebenes.
