Tolbert Solo is a gem!
If you ever watch live performance (I have posted a few on my BCBG fan page)he spices up the partitions, he can play other soloists flawlessly,he practises religiously 
He brings back the Wenge feel.

Jb mpiana is a bad leader.......Tolbert has been longer in bcbg than kimbangu was in wmm but kimbangu solo is more popular...

you summed up here the two styles of marketing(or lack of )
few days ago i was talking with a friend who is a hardcore maison mere fans,and who thought that since i was not calling jb all sorts of names like him i was a bcbg fan told me "your group is not a wenge you have never had any  good soloist apart from those inherited from 4X4" then i showed him videos of patou solo and he was like "really? how come i never heard about him"

exactly....You cant compare Patou, Patty Moleso and now Tolbert to most of the WMM Guitarists....except, WMM like showcasing them.
