How is it possible that an intellectual as Wazekwa could write Kaokokokorobo ? Where did he get the inspiriation from ? Was he a thug before his parents sent him to Europe for his studies. Or did Timolo (the song is credited to him) add some "ki-yankee" in the lyrics of the song ? With him being very religious, I doubt that he invented that prayer in the begining. "Kaokokokorobo, pesa biso nguya to barrer ba nzembe nzembe na ba ntousa esprit. To regner lokola yo nalikolo, biso bayankee nase. Amen, Amen!!!" If that song was released this day. They would say that Kaokokokorobo is a demon, like the way they are talking everywhere about Moise Mbiye's guegue. Also those revelations about which were/are going on in the Congolese musicscene (the way people were steeling cloths for them), or that indirectly hint to homosexuality and the dark world "showbizz esimba monde, vivra verra ahn", "tolobaki moto ayeba te. Aweleli mpifo se pona Ferrari he, na caviar eh. Contract o signaki pona liwa". This all makes me doubt him he really wrote this song or if they added some lyrics, after that he gived the song to them.

The videoclip really matched the song. Which is quite rare in the Congolese music-scene. It made Papa Wemba win in 1997 the award of best videoclip during the AfriCar Awards in Abidjan. Africar Awards was the most famous music-awards in Africa in the '90s, before that Kora Awards became more popular from 1999. I think that 1998 was the last edition. Africar Awards was created the famous journalists Consty Eka & Yves Zogbo Junior. The videoclip was made by Sica Production (Didier Dingalt Ping).

kaokokokokorobo is a senado song i also thought it was his but its actually senado for most of the parts and some parts of wazekwa transformed from real lingala to indoubil
wazekwa's parts which were transformed is like "keba lubuaku ebebisaka moto part which was "keba prison esambuisaka moto yaya,maboko na sima,okangami na nkunda" and some other parts
