Had such high hopes for a Poison when he was featured on the Depso Rutti “Etranger En Service”, I thought Poison was going to be major.
Not to mention his obsession with Mobutu is kinda weird, I wonder why some people still look up to that man. I understand that man united the whole country with Zairisation but lets not forget he’s one of the ones that took the most from their country.

Back in 2009/10 you had a rapduo called Vitchandco who were dj's at the nightclub Nombril in Paris. I don't know if they are still active and if that nightclub still exist.






You have to Congolese to understand that. Back in 1997 until 2003/04 people would you call crazy if you were praising Mobutu. If alot of people not voted for Bemba back 2006, then it was for tribal reason and thinking that all those people for worked for Mobutu would return in power. While a lot returned already in 2003 and worked for Kabila and after 2006 more ex'mobutists went back and were part of MP (Majorite Presidentielle). People start praising Mobutu from 2008 and it became more and more stronger after 2011. That is because of the bad governance, the kuluna-phenomenon (which never existed before in Kinshasa), the poverty which is growing more and more, the unemployment which is very huge, the way chinese, libanese, sri lanka's and indian people are playing with us in our own countries, the way foreigners are in favour and they alot of Congolese politicians aren't Congolese in reality, the way our army is infiltrated by foreigners. And the way our neighbours are attacking us everyday with their army and stealing our natural resources. With Kabila saying nothing, while if it was Mobutu he would held speeches which would calm the population. Look the way Kabila is laughing with Kagame & Museveni. his "father" never did that back in 1999. I can't find those picture of 2013. But in those pictures Kabila looks drunk and he was laughing with Kagame & Museveni. It looked like they were mocking the way Congolese people are dying. These pictures were shooted the same day.

I become sad if I think about Olivier Mopepe 'aka Sinistre". He was one of the most promising rappers back in the days. He rapped on JB Mpiana's song Bye Bye Julie.



He was the figurehead of rap-group Bana Kin, which had Youssoupha, Mike Evian, etc. I remember Koffi Olomide saying in an intereview in Kinshasa when they released their album Tendence, that that kind of music would never succeed in Kinshasa or Paris. but now 15 years later we have Naza, Keblack, Dadju, etc. Some have even more succes than the leaders in Kinshasa, since that the younger generation is prefer that king of music, then rumba/ndombolo.
