I just got reminded few hours ago that  back in 2001 2002  jb came to europe and  normally the group was never performing without him but he trusted alain mpela so much that he allowed alain mpela to perform with the group twice,once at cinemax the second time at one of the hotels and was supposed to have grand hotel aswell but jb returned quicker because president of niger wanted him to perform there so they went to niger 
i am not too sure today the same jb would let anybody do that,or werra letting nicodem or koffi letting omba/chikito or even if we go back to the years of ferre fally

Wasn't that in 2003, when RFI also followed JB Mpiana in Niamey for the big show there and a huge crowd being present ? with the succes of that show giving him contracts Guinee Conakry where he meeted BCBG Djougouba.

Anti Terro would have been real breakthrough of Alain Mpela with rumba's who were in preparation for Papito Mbala, Amborio Keji and Sylvie Shako (which became Didi Kinuani songs in Intifada). That's why JB Mpiana keeps saying in interviews that Alain Mpela left to early, because that would really be the moment that he receive the ultimate blessing.

I think that it's better for him to return to Wenge BCBG, like Tutu Calugi just for 2 years and then record a solo album. I'm sure that his friend Aimelia Lias will follow him if he decided to do that. But Alain's pride is to big.

He and Bouro Mpela made a huge mistake by staying in Europe when Mortel Combat came out. That was like their last chance to succeed as solo artists. Maybe it could be karmpa the way they were living in private. They and many other musicians were lucky that Labouche Autorisee and LSC (les stars en couple or something like that back in 2010/11) didn't exist. Espcially LSC that page was so dangerous with the musicians themselve sometimes reacting on page and getting stressed. They were lucky that LSC didn't had a youtube-channel and the notoriety Les News des Stars and Labouvhe Autorisee now have, otherwise they would have created more damage.

What happened with the Original Labouche Autorisee. Because it's 4 months or so that they deleted her page.

yes he has been renting it since 2007 or so to people so that he makes extra money outside music and other private business

Afande was offered 50K USD to go back as le Chef du Gouvernement BCBG, but he declined and laughed at JBs face. He thought that Generation A would stand as a powerhouse but they disbanded as soon as their leader went to Europe thanks to Koffi and others. Mortel Combat is an amazing album but their promotion sucked, and having Bourro as an ally, I dont know if the guy can stick around for that long.  Afande's chances are gone, heck he should hit 50 in the next 2 to 3 years. I believe that he should look into other business ventures and be called once every blue moon for featurings.

Yep. I'm afraid that Afande is done. He missed the bus twice : when he left and when Fally and Ferre changed the music landscape.

@Archos, please what has Alain Mpela been up to lately? There is something very very special about the Mpela brothers but it seems they keep missing it.

he was given proposition to return to bcbg like a stepping stone to get attention again the way tutu caludji did but him being a bit of primadonna as usual wants jb to buy for him an house in one of the most expensive areas of kinshasa and get the highest salary of bcbg straight away(seguin makes 1,5K each month)

Sorry to hear about his poor health.... But that his 'proposition' is an overkill o! Where will he get that from when he is not Seguin or Roger Ngandu?
