Droit Chemin did at the end not come out on the 15th May. The release of the album was the delayed to the 10th June. With then Fally getting alot of contracts and having problems about choicing for himself or for Quartier Latin with himself choicing. While he agreed with Koffi to follow Quartier Latin's schedule and that after that he would give him some free weeks to let him promote Droit Chemin in solo-concerts by giving him some Quartier Latin-musicians. Then some days before the release of the album problems started. Koffi Olomide was angry to hear that David Monsoh was the excucitive producer of his album, while they had a big conflict and that he didn't participate. Then there was a moment that Fally was furious on Koffi. Because Koffi's advocate tried to forbid the release of Droit Chemin,by saying that he hasn't the right to release that album, since that he have a contract with Quartier Latin. With Fally being very angry saying in private that he would attack Koffi in an interview. Koffi Olomide himself said in private at his hotelroom in Brussels at it's better for Fally to leave the band, after hearing that he received more than 40.000 euro's. After performing at Bouya Mayola's concert in Brussels, he started missing concerts. He prefered giving a playback in Paris, while Quartier Latin was performing at Elysee Montmarte. Then Koffi Olomide tried to bring the peace back in the band by giving to two meetings in a day, since that Ferre wasn't participating in concerts anymore since a month. But nothing special happened. After that Koffi went Quartier Latin to Abidjan without Fally and Fallygoing on his own to Kinshasa and performing then in Brazzaville, Libreville with ith then a war starting.

Fally used ghostwriters. Fally is not a big songwriter. He wrote just 2 songs on his own but with help of his friends. All Congolese musicians use ghostwriters that not a secret. It started already back in the days of Luambo Makiadi and Tabu Ley. Many songs of Tabu Ley for example were songs written by his guitarist Faugus and his singer Paul Ndombe (who his Baby Ndombe's father).

Wow, Congolese music had never been the same since then, Fally's album came in an era where Koffi, JB and especially Werra reached their peak you couldn't walk anywhere without them Wenge MM where considered the best group then Fally came with Droit Chemin and the rise begun, if you check the videos now it haven't got a lot of views but in every Congolese home (at least in Europe) in every Congolese work hold everywhere it was Fally, Fally especially Liputa for Rumbas and Droit Chemin for generique.

It’s a tad insulting to have Koffi mentioned among the other names you listed. He initially made a name for himself being a renowned lyricist/ghostwriter and helping Wemba rejuvenate the quality of his rhumbas in the early 80’s when he started to struggle.  Even Simaro calls him one of the best songwriters ever.  It’s after he proved himself as a solo artist and after multiple albums he became open to songwriters. Whereas Ferre, Fally, Wemba, and Werra used songwriters from day 1

Personally, if you can’t compose your own song and sing it (consistently) then you are not an “artist complet”, but it doesn’t matter nowadays since there are so many willing songwriters ready to present a rhumba or générique composition to an artist for some money.

If the level of songs dropped than it's because big songwriters like Pascal Poba don't accept cloths anymore as. They want to sign contracts before giving songs, so that they can receive money every months. Which makes artist turn to ghostwriters of a low level. Many ghostwriters made an end to their carreer, alot tried a solo career and some succeed (Wazekwa & Karmapa), but the most fail.

Kofiba Olomide is a big songwriter, but since 1992 he uses sometimes songs of other songwriters to be monotonious. After V12 he felt that he didn't have to put full energy of writing songs by himself, because he made already a name in '80s and 70's with his classic songs and by hellping Papa Wemba on the top when he started Viva La Musica. 80% of the songs credited to Papa Wemba's name in 1977, 1978 & 1979 are his.  He gave also  songs to his friends Djanana & Emeneya and in 1980 he wrote Santa for Papa Wemba. In 1978 he was voted as Best songwriter of the year with his song Princesse Ya Senga he was then 22 years old. He changed his style many times to be still on the top. The songs he made in Bord Ezanga Kombo & Abacadabra about sex was to counter Fally's Orgasy (orginally Orgasme) and Nyokalesse (aka Yaka  ko lecher). If he was still making songs by himself and in the same style like Diva, VIP, Stephie and didn't follow Wenge then  his career would have already been finished like his friends Debaba & Carlyto and later Reddy.

 Btw I think that Wazekwa's carreer wouldhave different if he accepted to use songs from ghostwriters after Signature. But he still wanted to write songs by himself to prove people a point that he wrote songs for Koffi Olomide & Papa Wemba. But until this day nobody can sing atleast 10 Rumba-songs from him let say even 3.

Thanks for all this information bro !! I was really very young at that time ! What are the song Fally wrote himself ? Anyone know who are the songwriter of Ko-ko-ko-ko (this song is for me the deepest sound of Fally with Liputa)

You are right but I meant recent Koffi, I mean compared to V12 and Loi songs (Parking Ya Ba Baba, Loi herself, Fouta Djalon, Miss Toutsi, Micko) his latest Alidor and many other rumbas like Tshilamwila and so on are way worse so it is kinda disappointig that he has lost motivation due to he conquest of everything you could ask for.
