Jakom, ma gi jo ka bimbe. There is need to put a clear line between one's subjective personal dislike for Koffi and his antics and an objective analysis/appreciation of his music. He may be a slavedriver in our opinion but if he delivers good music, do you have to trash it because you hate how he treats his women? What do you expect? He’s started his career 40 years ago and performs nearly every weekend.

Already proved his mettle as a singer and composer long ago. Even someone with a high octave like Salif Keita isn’t hitting the notes he used to. It gets easier to stress vocal cords in that age range

I'm huge fan of Koffi's work. But Vieux Rambo doesn't have it anymore and it's getting embarrassing. No reason to get excited.

When you say he does not have it any more which authority are you quoting? You have the right to respond to his 'finished' career whichever way you damn please but it remains your own personal taste and opinion because based on the reaction all over quite many people are enjoying Ba Esclaves!!!! Seems you are in the minority!!!

In this platform there are people who will criticize a musician even if he gives a decent and good music to please his ago because he is more of a fan to ferre, fally, werrason, jb, wazekwa, wata, koffi etc.

Exactly.....they always criticize without merit. I am Werrason, Ferre, Fally and Koffi fan mostly but I also criticize them when they produce boring or poor quality music. I used to be a JB Mpiana fan when he was still an active musician but not much anymore but even now if he produces a masterpiece I would enjoy. Example is some of us will always criticize Werrason even if he doles out good music and the excuse they give is that he is stingy and does not pay his musicians......For Koffi they tell you its because he mistreats women and cheats on his wife with Cindy(90% of men do anyway!!!).................that makes me ask if this is a musical forum or a morality forum? For me I come here to enjoy music irrespective of the artist. If it is good I will partake. The personal lives of the musicians is not mine but God's to police!!!

Every time I see a topic on Werrason on this forum I can almost always predict the reaction before hand. Most of the times the reaction seem to lack objectivity & strays away from the topic to some trivial stuff. Guys should learn to love the music more than the musicians

I don't care about being in the minority. I'm not running for office. I have my opinion  and you guys have yours. I don't have to check what the  majority is thinking before saying what I think about a track or a musician. This is a forum about music not a congress of the communist party.

This is basically my first time on this board criticizing Koffi. And I did not say a single word about his scandals, even though I could. I gave my opinions on this song and on the decline of his ability. You can't disagree with me but why are you getting so agitated ?
