You can see that Skola Miel wasn't feeling happy in Quartier Latin. She was totally different than the Skola of Bozi where she was always smiling and dancing. Kamono and Zina did everything to let her feel in comfortable in the band. The succes of Baroza's rockystyle on the sebene of Dede in concerts (the songs of Avis Recherche were already played in concerts back in 1993 with them being illegaly sold on cassetes), made all bands adopt that rockstyle mode, including Quartier Latin. Lebou Kabuya became then main lead-guitarist of the band being also appointed as new chef d'orchestre. Zina Bilawu was those days skinny. I think that she used those C4-products after this tour become thick with her being different in those V12-clips and in Ultimatum really having that shape.

Somono said in an interview years ago that when he joined Quartier Latin, that Beevans didn’t want to talk to him. Saying that he never toured in Europe, so they ca not talk. With him feeling uncomfortable, but Koffi saying that must not listen to him and just work hard to get a place. Somono said he worked very and that the roles switched after a moment l, admitting also indirecltly that he did nkisi.

Based on the way Beevans responded, he must have known that he tenure with the orchestra was soon over. As fantastic as his cries were on Magie, he seemed to be running on creative fumes with his animations on V12 (sharing those duties with Koffi)...plus, he sounded WAY too much like Robert Wunda from Wenge Musica for my taste!

As far as you know, what was Koffi's reasons for replacing Beevans?
