Internet - only cause the bits where jb was filmed was just lazy he didn't look interested and also the fact that you can sense alain mpela is missing with kibens trying to fill the role as the head of bcbg just wasn't working for me

Temoignage - just cringy and bad and also with werra releasing high budget movie like clips for the generiques of operation dragon and ligne II got people excited thinking the same thing was gonna happen for ca sonne but nope

Droit de veto - even though 4 clips were released due to academia forming it was terrible probably the worst the fact that in rond point and droit de veto there's blatantly two cameras recording them and in droit de veto you can see the other cameraman just not acceptable

Sans issue - just plain lazy filming

Bokosepela clips - wenge recorded clips of some songs from les antes adorables pleins feux and kalayi boeing they were just bad clearly filmed with a cheap cam recorder

Honourable mention
Monde arabe - the clips that were filmed in kin weren't necessarily bad but the quality wasn't like that of the previous clips and was kinda whack
Titanic - only because I was missing blaise and makaba and it wasn't comfortable seeing them replaced by kibens and rio
Attentat vol 1 - hated how he didn't show his musicians in the clips of victoire and malanda gnome and in sisi we didn't see Coumba gawlo and in vol 2 we didn't see passi in african kings only the bercy playback footage

 jb and clips lol they used to argue one hell lot him and simon about it,simon found clips not too important since feux de l'amour was a success with zero real clip some clips of internet musicians literally to beg him to fund it and participate which is why he is so desinterested,how his career would be if he did better his share of work for his image and his producers too
haha the droit de veto clips,i remember when i saw it i spent 6 months hating the audios to death,sam and co put koffi in such a mess lol surely if they were around he would have made an effort

^ omg, the Témoignage clips were so incredibly bad... so embarrassing to watch. Overall, bad clips were a way of life for so long since it was usually done waaayy after the fact.

I also want to include Empire Bakuba clips from early 90’s where it seemed like they had zero budget and no rehearsal whatsoever

There were good clips here and there (usually génériques), but I think it was Fally’s Droit Chemin (more-so Monsoh spending $100k for clips) and A2BM that really led to artists taking clip seriously this decade, particularly after 2012. Thankfully some clips now are on par with western artists

You all forget how expansive it was to record clips like western artists back in the days. Alot of clips were done by the artists themselves. Werrason was lucky to have been onder JPS Productions’s who put alot of money to record Operation Dragon & Ligne 11. Back in the days many people didn’t really complain about the videoclips, it was more about the album. But nowadays ita the oppositie with a guy like Jazz Kavhulu making plenty analyse-videos about that. Don’t forget that some clips of French rappers back in the mid-90’s were also made on the same way.

For the Intenet-clips and TH we have to thank Damien Dimonekene. If he didn’t push JB then we would have never seen those clips. Don’t forget the clips of Internet were recorded 4 years later when they started preparing Kipe Ya Yo. TH was released when they were already in Kinshasa preparing Bercy and waiting for the release of Internet.

Koffi was directing videoclips by himself until 13eme Apotre.

Sure, but a bad clip is a bad clip. Even with limited budgets there have been lots of exemplary clips where dance and choreography makes up for it. 

I remember buying VHS’ at my music stores then watching most just once or twice because they were so bad. Matters are made worse when you’d watch clips before listening to the album on CD
