One of the genre's biggest what-if.... if WMM stuck together and we got the original "Miracles". At the same time we wouldn't have the wonderful album from Les Marquis. Things just happen for a reason

The second track "Toutes les filles allez à l'école" is quite good once the tempo kicks up (6:05-). Last Werra song ever with Ferre and Bill

I think that Bracongo and Werrason knew that Tindika Loktio would be a big hit. Because on the cd-version I had the track was 12 minutes long with the song being played 3 times in a row. I remember people in wedding parties, bars, nigthclubs dancing that song 3 times in a row, some even 6. Looks like Bracongo and Bralima talked together to release generics for christmas ‘03 on the same time JB Mpiana with Pelisa Nguasuma on one side and Werrason with Tindika Lokito on the other side. Both generics were a huge succes, but that of Tindika Lokito was massive. The succes was son of that Werrason won 2 kora because of that in 2004 (Best Male Central Africa & Best Male Artist Africa).

The same track made Bill Clinton being angry against Werrason. Because of the succes of the generique, Bracongo gave Werrason 100.000 dollars. Werrason didn’t even share to money to Bill, Celeo & Flamme who did the hard work which pissed them off and it motivated Bill to leave. Before the creation of Les Marquis Werrason asked Didi Kinuani if he could buy some little things for Flamme & Celeo to keep them happy. The same thing for the song Toutes les filles allez à l’école. He received a big amount from Unicef, but didn’t share that money to the musicians who participated to that song.

What is that thing with people on YouTube putting names of people who doesn’t have anyrhing to do with the album. What does Adricha have to do with Tindika Lokito. I saw someone uploading Ultimatum and putting the name of Adolphe Dominguez & Josky Kiambukuta lol.

If I'm not mistaken, this is first Wenge project to feature Michel Bass and he didn't didn't disappoint! His bass playing was just as captivating as Flamme Kapaya's solo and Kakol's snare rolls.

This project was the first time I noticed how much Wenge Musica Masion Mere, a lot of the usual members were slowly disappearing from Serge, Baby, and Japonais Maladi (whom I realized was doing session work for Awilo's Mondongo).

My brother, we may never know exactly what the album would have sounded like had Les Marquis never formed. But this may be the closest hint to what the general sound would have been (from 37 minute mark to 43 minutes mark).



There's animation and dance from Alerte Generale and 7eme Lecon mixed in this performance, unfortunately you can sense that things were not to last. Werrason hardly acknowledges Ferre on stage while Heritier is given so much attention during the dance section.

By the way, those dancers at 56:45 to 58:43 kiekiekie! For a woman to dance like 58:23, the administration of the group would have to sanction me because me and that dancer is having relationship beyond music 

Good job of Michel Bass on Tindika Lokito générique. I really like the duo of Werra and Ferré at the beginning of the song "Toutes les filles à l'école", the voice of Werrason completes well with the voice of Ferré.
Werrason is not a great singer but he has a good "2e voix" (second voice) and it is especially the musicians that surround him who manage to push Werra to give the best of him with his voice (Makaba, JB, Ferré, Baby , Celeo ...)...

Back in those days people weren't labeling Werrason as a faux chanteur. Even when Zacharie Bababaswe released that VHS which included the recordings of A La Que Leu Leu and the behind the scenes of Double Zenith. Back in the days of Wenge 4x4 they were labeling Werrason as the heir of King Kester Emeneya. People started to notice and call Werrason faux chanteur when the polemic between him and Koffi re-started in 2005 after that Ferre joinedQL. Koffi was calling himself then 'encadreur' and said  "you can't name yourself 'grand formateur' if you aren't able to sing a vocal of one of your bandmembers". From that day everybody started to label Werrason as a 'faux chanteur'.

There was a moment that people started also to label JB Mpiana as faux chanteur just after the release of Soyons Serieux, but it dissapeard  quickly since that he didn't had a beef with someone or a spokemen like Sankara to label him that for life.

 roi david remained in europe because his girlfriend of then ran away with all his money while like all musicians he had to bring gifts to his family and support them, and ever since that could not return because werra tells him if he wants to rejoin he should re settle in kinshasa whereas now he is a french citizen and would have to come often

Yes Aimelia & Kabose were forced out because of La Zamba-fans finding them to old. Kabose mission of covering Serge Mabiala was over because they had already J3 who was younger and handsome in their eyes and also the then new Olivier. Aimelia mission was also over he replaced well for year, but he was to old and didn't know had to dance so with JR Marot coming from Holland and Miel de Son who was really hungry. So he could already go after over-attacking BCBG for years on tv, but BCBG not reacting. But Didier Lacoste had still his place in the band. It just that he self messed everything up. The succes of Fally Ipupa's Droit Chemin made him dream to record also an album with guys of his staff and people from Yolo trying to convince. Saying 'you were known before Fally and need to prove that you are better then him. I remember Naty Lokole also saying the same thing in an interview. Then they were working on Sous Sol-single in the hope to block Droit Chemin's succes on christmas. First it had only 3 songs, but then Werrason decided to give him to put the opportunity to put a song. Then when it was released when they were in Europe people started to appreciate it and later on it became a huge succes with him getting big headed. Before their concert at Elysee Montmarte there was a moment that he was doubting wearing his uniform. Lacoste himself was stupid and started to tell to Werra's staff (Yanki, Elliot, etc.) that he wanted to record an album and those guys told to Werra that he already made a maquette for his album, which wasn't true. From that moment his relation with became bad. Himself Lacoste became big headed and didn't come anymore to concerts with Maison Mere firing him. Then he wanted record his album with Flamme, Celeo, Roi David. But Celeo refused and returned to Kinshasa in the hope to get a second chance and reconcile with Werra trought Didi Kinuani. Flamme who was still Europe for the mixing of Temps Present was still doubting about leaving. So he ended up with recording the album with Leny Bidens & Michel Bass. With Roi David wanting to particapite but then running away for those Maison Mere-fans in Paris who caught him hahahahahaha.

Heritier Wantanabe also almost left, because of Werrason started to do some 12 to him and trying like Celeo & Flamme to sabotate his worldmusic-album and like Lacoste he had also the desire to record a solo album, but he was doubting. With him returing to DR Congo and started a private-band preparing his album in secret and wanting 8 years long for the good moment in hope that Werra does something bad to him so that his departure could get attention.

Isn't Kabose born the same year as Bill Clinton Kalondji, why would he be considered old by Werrason's standards? I understand the case of Aimelia; he couldn't keep up with the choreography like the others. In the video below, observe the 5:45 minute part of the video...he really couldn't dance lmao!

I understand Roi David got screwed over by his girlfriend, but he should of settled in Kinshasa. When he remained in Europe, he effectively killed his entire career since they moved on without him.

So Flamme Kapaya intially participate in the recording of Temps Present before leaving? I thought he left before they they returned to record the album.
