The polemic they made on tv didn't make any sense. Actress Visa (R.I.P.) & spokemen King Tekila defending Wenge Musica Maison Mere and throwing shots at JB Mpiana's TH. Gentamicine defending Wenge BCBG and praising JB Mpiana about his car and throwing shots at Werrason.

So sad that JB Mpiana didn't bring Gentamicine anymore to Europe to put his animations on TH on the spaces who were left for him. TH could have brought him a level higher at that time and give him more respect. Luckily that he had some space on Mohammed Kaniansy. I liked his animations on Ya Pas Match and Zenith 1999 alot.

Was Aimelia's spot in Wenge BCBG really threaten after the release of Titanic or did he just become arrogant to prove himself as a solo artist after Zenith? Because very few artist at that time succeeded in launching solo careers after leaving big groups.

Like I explained to you in another thread. It wasn't Aimelia choice to leave Wenge BCBG and Aimelia's spot wasn't threaten. He was forced out the band because of what happened in Canada which made them punishing by not letting him sing in TH. He felt ashamed about that and didn't want to return to Kinshasa because he saw that as a big humilation after the work he done at Zenith and Olympia and that famous 1 min-non vocal. He tried after that to join Quartier Latin, but Koffi Olomide refused. So he hadn't another choice then recording a solo album to be still active on the music-scene and have some money. Back in those days it was very easy to find a recordlabel and get some 50.000 dollars before recording.

Personally I think that Koffi did well to not recruit Aimelia into the QL, Aimelia is not compatible with QL, he has too much the spirit of Clan Wenge
