She had to leave Koffi after Abacadabra or her first EP. Now she's already finsihed before having left Koffi. She's blind she doesn't know that Koffi is using her. The day she will discover it, it will be already to late.

That year Koffi started to kill Quartier Latin. Quartier Latin became more like an "orchestre d'accompagnement" with all the focus being on Koffi and Cindy. Those talented singers started to leave Quartier Latin one by one.  I started to dislike Cindy that year. The same Cindy was close to leave Quartier Latin that year, by fighting against Koffi in a concert (which was apparently because losing her baby).

It was a diffucult year Koffi who was not able to travel to other countries of Africa since that the Interpol made an arrest warant to Koffi. He came then with concepts like Cindy chante Koffi and Koffi chante Tabu Ley that year to be still in the spolights.

The day Cindy entered QL was the day koffi started to lose it... my dislike of her started in 2008 10 years now but now it's gone to the point now that I'm past caring whether she's there or not she's irrelevant now. I will never ever forgive her or koffi for killing Latino we had such a strong team when fally and them left we had arca dinheiro, asso, joss, gabbana, babia, jitrois, rolly mayemba, arabe youssouf, mon ami guelord, suzuki, Scottie Pippen, I could go on and on that team was more than capable of filling the hole that fally, montana, bouro, soleil and co left

not really. If you look the concerts of the moment when Cindy came in 2007 until August 2008 when BEK was released you will see that he gave Les Mineurs more space then Cindy. Koffi left Cindy often behind in Kinshasa when he was touring in Africa with Les Mineurs. If you listen to BEK you see that he gave them 50%-50% Cindy having vocals on Ikia, Festival and l'Amour n'existe Pas and Les Mineurs on BB Gout, Bomengo, Salopette & Ikea. There were some songs were Cindy and Meje30 didn't do the chorus (Soupou & Katagourouma). Meje 30 had to sing on L'Amour n'existe pas, but Koffi asked her something which made her furious and leave Quartier Latin.

Koffi was ready to give Les Mineurs a chance, he forced Montana & Shella Mputu out for them. But he was still hurt about Fally's departure and didn't want to be hurt again like that. So he decided to focus on Cindy since that he saw that she had something special which Fally & Ferre also had. There was an interview with Yves Abdallah of 2010 where he hinted about that with him saying that he will only work with women in the future with him presenting Les Mikwapins. But the same Mikwapins were blocked, because Cindy was very jealous. After BEK, Quartier Latin had to record an album, but Koffi wasn't really sure about Les Mineurs, wanting also to force the guys who had some experience out the band (Babia, Suzuki, Joss Diena, Gabanna, J3, Hono Kapanga and Gessac). So he gave on the Skol Madramanda-EP only Arab Youssouf and Guelord the chance to put songs to see if they had enough maturity to have a Quartier Latin after Abacadabra (then called Ekafela). But those songs flopped which made Koffi decide to stop promoting them and make Quartier Latin a Cindy-Koffi band.

Very sad because Beaudelaire and Forgeron were really good songs and were very promising. I think that at that time the QL could still make a good album while today I think it's useless for them to release an album
