No, maybe for bandmembers but not for bandleaders like Emeneya, Wemba, Nyoka Longo or even Simaro, Tabu Ley and Franco used to do in the past. Back in those days it was very important to go on tv and the radio's. Now leaders don't even care, Fally did 1 year without doing an interview on tv and attacked journalists on a press-conference. If Franco or Tabu Ley would do that, then they would have suspended him for months on tv and radio's, because back in those days journalists had more power than musicians. I remember Nila Mbungu saying that he was almost fired, because Papa Wemba went to visit him in his office, while it was forbidden for musicians to visit journalists in their office. Because musicians were then seen as nothing.

Journalists like Lukunku Sampu, Manda Tchebwa, Lukezo Luansi and Ilunga Muana Bute were well respected journalists.

  What qualifications do most of these internet journalist have if at all they have any? Because most of them dont look the part.

If I had power in Congo, some of these people would be in jail or in a labor camp.

 Yeah its a sad situation, imagine even the most random members of group are in a position of asking to sleep with them girls before giving them a interview and then  offering them a pair of baskets or something like that
but that situation is very deep most of the rare ones who studied for it in kinshasa were already relying on 4 5 guys to pay their school fees,their hair and so on so they already had that spirit of giving their body easily in hope for something and the other ones some where literally working in the streets if you see what i mean and were given a mic because they looked attractive and confident

Damn. The standards for journalism in Congo really have fallen.
