I watched it yesterday. Champion !!!!!!!!!!!! He was the most famous drummer of Africa and had more succes than some singers and atalaku’s of Quartier Latin. If he didn’t left in 2001 and stayed let say until 2007 or 2006 then he could easily begin a band with his Fame and charisma. Number Two ”muana Lemba”.. He used to be one of my favorite drummers. Champion killed me with the story of those female dancers partying about Koffi not being present hahahaha or the way he was imitating Modogo and that story of Koffi paying his musicians.

I think Montana snitched Champion, because Spino La Djatence who was a good friend of Champion hadn’t a good word of him and claimed that Montana said fake stories about him to Koffi. Which made him leave the band for Wenge Tonya Tonya. Juste before Effrakata Koffi forced alot of important musicians who contributed to the succes of Bercy and Force de Frappe out the band. Guys like Champion, Mamale and CNN. It would have been intressted to see Champion in Effrakata and Afdaire d’Etat. I missed his smile he left and the way atalaku’s and Koffi were shouting his names “Esthétique” and “Champion”. We had Titina as replacer, but it wasn’t the same anymore. You could feel that Titina wasn’t giving 100% like he did in Wenge and that Quartier Latin was blocking his evolution as drummer since that he hadn’t the artistic freedom anymore.

from 25:01 min Champion talking about the mpiaka they had at Grand Hotel. This explain why he didn't put the image of that concert in the Droit de Veto-VHS, only a quick extract of 2 seconds in the Roint Point videoclip. With Soleil, Biva Rai, etc. dancing on the eloko moko boye-animation. The same for the Stade des Martyrs-which wasn't put in that VHS, only the announcement of that concert written in little letters when the female-dancers are dancing during a rehearsal which was 2 years before that concert. I think that a excepted alot of the two concerts after having alot of succes in Europe with his shows at Olympia, Brixton Academy and Zenith de Paris.

That was a terrible moment for Koffi Olomide. 2 important members decided to leave the band in Tanzania before arriving in Kinshasa, performing in a empty Stade des Martyrs and then for the first time in your career performing in a empty Salon Congo of Grand Hotel de Kinshasa. With then your ex'mentor sending his musicians to mock your pshyic (yo mutu nguba, bazo tinda yo) and your rival doing the same (antoine missisa aboti bana impoli, bongo ye moko impoli).

Montana didn't need to resort to such tricks to remove Spino,  because he's a better singer

It was not for removing Spino, but just to get a way to be lives by the Boss. That happen in all bands.
