Are these Guy Matondo's songs ? With that fast-talking/singing-talking-style. Isn't he the guy who introduced those bedroom-songs in Congolese music-scene or was it someone else ? Koffi style of making rumba started to be different from Monde Arabe and he developed that style in B.E.K.

Congolese artists are strange they credit all those songs including the generiques as tracks who are written and composed by the themselves. Putting the names of those ghostwriters in the remerciement-list like they were financial donors. If the generique flops then they say it's the atalaku's who made those generics its not my task, but if the generique is a huge succes then they like to praise themselves like they did all those jobs by themselves, while they did nothing in reality only some shout-outs and proverbs. I was really surprised to see also Vigas's name in the list of B.E.K., who normally always work with Werrason. Now I understand also why all those songs sound the same the last 10 years. Because those goshtwriters work with all bandleaders while in the past goshtwriter were mostly only working for 1 person.

but in general there is still a lot of bullying with all artists especially when they start having ambition to record albums some leaders threatened them and promise them their album will never be out and some were scared and continued giving songs,some like pida star still went bold and also given the power musicians have on donors a lot of donors were told if you dare help that guy forget about me forever because they love that situation of the writers giving songs receiving promises then at very best getting what i said above but in many cases still few clothes or shoes or i know a unknown songwriter who did not receive it because the "bureau" who was sent to give it to him blocked it

mawa mingi, I think that alot bandleaders don't want that Socoda will function in a normal way. Knowing that those will be credited to those goshtwriters with them becoming powerfull and those bandleaders not being able anymore to dominate them and gets songs for peanuts.


That's kindoki ya moyi man. Getting songs for free or for 1000 dollars and selling it to donors for 20.000/15.000 each song. That isn't fair.
