Did Wemba have some grude towards Stino for talking bad about him and having left Viva for some weeks with Lidjo Kwempa and Awilo Longomba to create "Nouvelle Generation de la Republique Democratique"? Because i noticed that he didn't sing on Foridoles & Nouvelle Ecriture. He hadn't vocals in Pole Position and Fula Ngenge, but did only the chorus. And in this interview he said that he was often preparing song with Papa Wemba, but he would sing it with other singers in the studio (Reddy Amisi & Cele Le Roi). In the same interview he explained how Nouvelle Generation was created. But his version if very different then that of Reddy, Lidjo Kwempa & Joly Mubiala. He says that the famous reunion started because of Wemba hearing Reddy talking about bad about him. But in interviews of Joly and Lidjo and many others they all said that Reddy wasn't present and that he was already thinking about leaving the band with him already being absent in two concerts and not more showing up in concerts. He also said that Reddy wasn't with them in the start of La Nouvelle Generation, while the most former Nouvelle Generation-musicians confirmed that he used to with them but that he returned on the last minute. On the end he said that he decided to return to Viva after hearing that they wanted to contact other musicians.

Ado Yuhe really missed the occassion to ask him the question about his departure with Reddy, the war they had against the guys of Nouvelle Ecriture (Bendoson, Pompom Miyake,...) which him and the musicians of Viva saw as rivals or why Papa Wemba decided to leave him behind in Kinshasa with Lidjo Kwempa, Gloria Tukhadio, Gauthier Mukoka, Dezay, Stella Uomo, etc. when he decided to settle Viva La Musica in Europe back in 1987

Till this day I don't not understand what the problem between Reddy and Stino was. Was it just that Stino couldn't support Reddy's behavior or was there something behind it. I remember him fighting in the studio with Reddy, just because Reddy didn't want to see him wearing glasses and recently in a interview with Papy Gene he revealed that they he had an argument with Reddy in Canada. Because he tought that he wanted to disrespect Papa Wemba, by stealing the show with his MJ-moves while Wemba himself asked to Stino to do that. Back in the 90's I noticed that nobody was liking Reddy in Viva La Musica except Luciana. With all seeing him as a snitch (always reporting things to Wemba early in the morning), arrogant and complicated guy. Recently he attacked Awilo Longomba for nothing, he thinks that Wemba belongs to himself.

No, that was Cele Le Roi (RIP).

I think that Lidjo and Stino were close because they came both from Kikwit were they grew up before coming in Kinshasa. Lidjo btw used to play in the same band with Emeneya in Kikwit and Stino used to be the friend of Emeneya's younger brother. I think that Lidjo Kwempa is a mumbala like Stino, but i'm not sure. Reddy is also a mumbala, but he's a mwana kin and don't like that kind of stuff hahaha lol only if he needs money from Andre Kimbuta, Godard Motemona and Aubin Minaku. I liked the way how Stino payed to tribute to his roots in Code 36.15, Ndosi and Interlude Bambala. Also Lidjo Kwempa with Espe and his vocals in Ceci Cela. I think that Lidjo would have got more respect if he and Nouvelle Generation came back to Kinshasa in 1994, but they all didn't had papers.

Joly Mubiala left because Emeneya wasn't paying them well anymore. That's the samething what made Makolin & Djudjuchet leave Victoria Eleison in 1987. Joly wanted to settle in Europe so with Choc Stars he profited to come and in Europe and decided then there to join Viva La Musica, but he was still participating in studio-albums of his big brother Kes (Djo Kester remix '91, Reponse Polo Kina '92, Everybody '93, Pas de Contact '95 and Succes Fous '97).

Reddy Amisi sung more than them all in those albums along with Cele Le Roi. Don't forget that Foridoles is a solo-album. In Foridoles he sung a with Wemba along.

In Pole Position he made the most popular vocal of the album in the song Apres Tout. In Fula Ngenge was more Nouvelle Ecriture, but he had a vocal in Abu Pia and sung with Cele Le Roi and Stino in the chorus of Phrase. In Nouvelle Ecriture he didn't sung but directed Bendoson and co when they were in the studio in Brazzaville with Papa Wemba recorded the rest of the songs in Europe with help of Caien Madoka, Dally Kimoko, Djuna Djanana, etc. (She Shanta, Sai Sai, Maman & Est-Ce Que)

That's  Cele Le Roi, sometimes he sings like a strong 2eme voix and other times as a tenorist, but you can be right.  I used to have the booklet of Fula Ngenge where they wrote the credits of each song. But I lost it 15 years ago.

Yeah nobody was liking him. It was also rare to hear Viva La Musica-musicians on his albums. Except on Injustice and some songs in Queen Lina. The rest of his albums were always recorded with session musicians. On Etoile he worked with Nouvelle Ecriture who were all respecting him (except Bendoson), some even already performed with him back in 1995 when Nouvelle Ecriture didn't exist (Ramazani, Dezay, Maradona, etc.).

There was something with his wife. So they both left that world. I don't know if it was his deceased wife Izbie Belle or his actual wife.

The song he dedicated to Izbie was very beautifel.

I heard it back in 2012 when I was in Paris from those old Victoria-fans. I don't if it's true since that Joly really dissapread and only sometimes appreared on those christian tv's in Kinshasa with him sometimes preaching people in Paris with Mbuta Kamoka. But I found it strange how he quickly re-became a "musicien ya mokili" in Kinshasa. Because in his first inteviews in Paris before going to Kinshasa he was still acting like a "frere en christ", but when he came in Kinshasa he suddenly changed.

Really strange he only came back on the scene when Emeneya passed away.
