Yep luckily I saved the picture long time because I remember discogs uploaded Defao 1995 album cover and they quickly deleted speaking of Papa Wemba I'll try upload Extra Large and Nouvelle Ecriture credits also Grand Job.

I used to like Wemba’s sentence in the Pole Postition booklet “Tant que j’aurais des frissons pour la musique, je resterais son fidèle serviteur....” and he made it until his death in Abidjan.

Pole Position was a huge succes. Kaokokokorobo was the bomb. The guy who wrote that song is a monster. He explained everything which was going  behind the scenes. With the videoclip also kind of illustrating it. The tribune song for Stervos Niarcos (Hommage) was excellent. My favorite songs were Sema Spraya (which was reminding me of Ivorian-musicstyle Zouglou), Edena, Jingle Amina, Kaokokokorobo, Toutou Kamuke, Soul Gbemani and Kaokokokorobo

I liked the way Wemba made his friend Felix Manuaku of Zaiko make a comeback. It were then difficult moment in his life, Grand Zaiko disbanned, he hadn’t papers and he kind like abandonned music. He showed is skills on Nani Temoin, Soul Gbemani & Toutou Kamuke.

Maika Munan did like Foridoles an excellent job 10/10 as arranger. Djudjuchet showed on this album again that he was the king of the charleston.

Can’t you find the booklet of Nouvelle Ecriture and Grand Job ?

He didn’t write he bought it from a songwriter who also wrote Mi-Amor.

Kinshasa is a place full with talented artist. That’s why most artists prefer to settle their band in Kinshasa. Atalaku’s for example always far away to het cries in Selembao, Bumbu, Malueka, Camp Luka, Kingasani & Masina. In the same area you got very talented songwriters, but they mostly don’t get the chance to be close to bandleaders since that they are dirty in their eyes. The only artist who used to be cool was Papa Wemba and sometimes King Kester Emeneya, but they are then not considered as artists. With then their musicians getting those little parts of their songs and using in as vocals in the songs of their leaders or collegues.

It's a shame that we don't know their names I there are few like for example Djo Nolo he wrote most songs during the early days of Choc Stars like Tshala, Fatou and Sissina.

If only the new generation could work with these songwriters we would have more beautiful songs with better lyrics and not monotony
