i think he just  thought he had earned with his loyalty  the privilege of being able to be free to talk to anybody and it used to work in the past, despite tensions he was still talking with jb and koffi and it never caused a problem,maybe he thought it would be the same while he has been facing a situation where he suddenly lost a lot of advantages in the last years and surely was not needed anymore
his situation reminded me a bit of how tyson and passe kosse had to leave latino(sorry for the example there are more or less the most recent of those cases of loyal guys somehow shown the door)

I think this is the wrong way to repay loyalty. Very inhuman. I pity Ali for what he is going through.
