lol, they became famous as Gospel-artists so why would they change ? I think that it would hard for them to succeed, I also don't believe that they get a chance in Quartier Latin, Maison Mere, BCBG & Nouvelle Ecriture. Rene Lokua would maybe suceed as a world-music singer like Lokua Kanza. But about Olivier Kalabasi, he started as a bassist for Charles Mombaya and then became in Europe a member of Anti-Volcans which was a band managed and produced by Martin Mapangu and his label Benedikta. There was a video of their band rehearsing on IZ Ingenieur's channel but it got deleted because by I guess Martin Mapangu for copyrights. I noticed that he always delete videos who were produced by him like Rigo Makengo for example the video of Werra's concert at Estadio da Cidadela in Luanda (Angola) after Solola Bien, but luckily those videos of Heures de Pointe (vol. 1 & 2) on Mudjona Dobss's channel didn't got deleted. I saw that Soukousman (aka DJ Shaddy Purppp) uploaded their full-album on youtube, but I can't find it anymore on his channel. I can't it also find it on digitalplatforms and if I type Anti Volcans on google then I can't find anymore information about the band.

Here's Mbuta Kamoka's interview about how he became famous. It would have been interresting if Ado also interviewed Olivier Kalabasi and Rene Lokua, also excepted them after Thomas Lokofe but then Ado switched towards Ndombolo, interviewing then Titina Al Capone after Aime Nkanu when he saw that his views were going down and that Ingrid Kabongo was inviting the same guests.

I used to have the VHS of the video it had the clip of Elongi Ya Jesus at the start but going to ask someone for forgiveness with bare feet scares me.
