He says he is making an effort to sound composed for this interview because obviously it is a huge shock to him to hear the news of papa lutumba's death
but on another side,he is happy that papa lutumba lived that long and left this world still having most of his physical and mental abilities,unlike for example his late father who died after suffering from alzheimer
he used to be a papa lutumba fan since his early years and his music was obviously very influenced by papa lutumba and back in the late 90's when he fully committed to solo career he went to visit papa wendo who was then one of the oldest artists of the country to seek advice and benediction and he got told by wendo that he was the third to do such thing after pepe kalle and simaro so he  fell in love even more with papa simaro and from then did everything to see him and become close to him
he says he feels very privileged to have been able to get so much advice from papa lutumba and having become as close as papa lutumba telling people "that's my son" and he hopes congolese and african people will give him due tribute and he hopes that unlike the case of papa wemba some people will not pop out of nowhere to create bad buzz and he hopes people will buy original cds to support his family and not fake ones because thats the best way to honour an artist who gave 60+ years of his life to give pleasure to people
he says ever since papa had been often in france for his health issues over the last years he has always been in touch with him and will keep in his heart for ever how papa lutumba despite age and sickness paid a plane ticket to go back to drc and be there for his book release and this time he also knew papa was seriously sick and knew that papa was in palliative care which meant there was almost no hope of him surviving but even though he knew he still was hit hard by the official announcement
and he has two regrets about papa lutumba,he feels he could have done a lot more for papa to show his love and respect for the man and the artistic legend he was and the second one is that he could not hear the secrets papa told he'd reveal to him if he felt he was nearing the end
in fact in older interviews wazekwa said that papa often told him to remind  him to tell him something  the day he feels he nears the end and he always responded "hopefully its in several decades"
and he was very tempted to go to france  to say goodbye to him and hear what were those secrets but he found it would be strange for people to see somebody coming to hospital absolutely wanting to see papa simaro because he had to tell him something
fifi siwa tries like most colleagues to throw in the usual questions about koffi and he says its not the moment to talk about such things but he says he is very happy for koffi that he is free and able to continue his music and even if their relationship clearly wont be again like in the 90's he would not rejoice at anything bad happening to koffi and he founds it absolutely normal that koffi did that tribute video because not only both of them but almost every congolese artist on earth took something from simaro be it proverbs,rhythm,song remixes....

Now we lost almost all our legends. We have now only Koffi Olomide, Verckys Kiamuangana, Bozi Boziana & Pepe Felly Manuaku.

That's also why he keep arguing with Jossart when there are Zaiko Anniversary-concerts. Evoloko is a big talented musician, but don't see him as a real legend.

Jossart is long active in the game, but that's also because of being lucky that he had Meridjo, Oncle Bapius, Zamuangana and Dindo Yogo on his side after the split of 1988 who were big songwriters. Ask someones a big hitsong from  Ya'Noch after 1995 and they will say no, except pure Zaiko-fanatics. He also never released a solo album on his name. But I've still alot respect for him and like some of his songs from the 80s (for example Paiement Cash, SVP Mbey and Pa-Oki

About Jossart, He is a certified Legend and also the fact that he has no actual albums as you say yet he still remains relevant is the beauty about  it.
I also Feel Old 'Benz' Bozi Boziana is among the most underatted Congolese Music Legends in terms of vocalists. I donno about his status in DRC but his Music during his hey day was appreciated here in Kenya.
