because koffi offered much more money,what happened in that period is that in a couple of months wazekwa got robbed huge money at home and got tricked on buying a house the guy ran away with 37K dollars back then,so he was going through a difficult period financially while the generation of joss and co all wanted and expected huge upgrade of salary given their new status and the bigger demand from people around them(family,friends) so as it was not coming and koffi came with that big offer they went to him
but gesac in particular has always been a fan of koffi,even until today although his time in latino ended badly he never ever talks bad of koffi while he roasts wazekwa in every given opportunity

Drigombaki made a proffesional video about the concert, but I can't find it. There weren't alot of people because they tought that the concert would be cancelled. Then before the start of the cocnert someone called the police, saying that there was a bomb in the hall which made almost everybody go away. The concert started on 3PM with Wazekwa performing in front of an empty Zenith with only 500 people. There was even a moment that he cried. I remember how Ndombolhino used to mock him on facebook for that mpiaka. Wazekwa's Zenith was the biggest mpiaka ever.

2007.

Gessac was suspended by Wazekwa and he was angry about that and decided to leave the band. With that Maisha-Parc rule of bandleaders being forbidden to recruit musicians of other bands, Wazekwa tought that Gessac would be rejected from all bands and rejoin Cultura soon. But Gessac went on his own to Bibi Play to do his test, but Koffi wasn't there because he was in Europe for some contracts. Then Koffi went back to Kinshasa and Gessac did his test again with Wazekwa then calling him if it was true if he recruited Gessac and he replying by no saying that Gessac was just a guest. Then Koffi gave him some money to join Quartier Latin and sended him to Extra Musica (Gessac performed with them in Libreville, Pointe Noire & Brazzaville) and claimed to have joined Extra Musica with Wazekwa then believing Koffi. But after that, Gessac went quickly went to Kinshasa and said on the television that he officialy joined Quartier Latin. He was officialy presented during the "sortie officiel" of Les Mineurs de Quartier Latin. Madilu (who's like Wazkewa gotfather) was also invited by Koffi and started to attack Koffi about that when started to sing.



Suddenly, Koffi decided to quit AMC and Maisha Parc, all bandleaders found his decision strange and Papa Wemba who was the president of it made even an official statement about it. But it was to pass that rule of nor recruiting musicians of other bands.  Then Koffi started with his operation to steal all keymembers of Wazekwa's band and started contacting them all. With Gabbanna joining as first. Then Joss Diena started to attack both Gabbana & Gessac, but the next day he joined Quartier Latin and started to attack Wazekwa. Then Wazekwa went to tv and said with alot of self-confidence that they could recruit whole Cultura, but they would never be able to steal Hono Kapanga. Then the next day Hono Kapanga joined Quartier Latin.

Till this day everytime I see footage of wazekwa’s zenith it makes me sad, even though I was a clan latino fan back then, he didn’t deserve that. That’s one of the few footage that should get destroyed.

Wow serious ?!! mawa trop... and Koffi then coming proud with campagne on tv.


I think Wazekwa could have go slowly back on the top if there wasn't a concert-ban in Europe because Hauts Les Mains did it a well in Kinshasa with the song Evida of Lisha Shombo. That concert-ban killed and blocked alot of things.

I hate it when people stoop so low just to spite their enemies, or even throw their toys out of the pram and start acting like spoilt children until they get their way. Why am I reminded of the last-minute cancellation of Heritier's Olympia?

HAHAHA i remember vieux quadra coming to an interview the day or few days after with a bottle of champagne and journalist saying alcohol is not allowed on tv but koffi toying with him like usual and open and drank and started throwing shade at the failed concert

As the saying goes; you reap what you sow. Koffi went above and beyond to sabotage Felix Wazekwa's band, but it came at a significant cost to himself.



Gesac came with just noise that entire generique, it was embarrasing how he let such a good partition go to waste at the 5 minute 48 second part. What happened? He had zero memorable cries during his time in Quartier Latin.



Bla Bla Bla was slighty better, but not by much. After those two generiques flopped, I was nervous for Koffi. BEK was slow to impact unlike his previous album. In my opinion, I don't think Koffi ever recovered from that album underperforming. He is scared to take risk and promote anyone other than Cindy

In addition to the success of the song Mosapi Liboso, Gessac made a big buzz when he came to Koffi with "c'est le moment" et " Sarkozy "

Although he invented his cries at Cultura and it must have been the cries of M.SEGUIN.

Koffi took a lot of time to release the generic, there was bla bla bla but in bad quality and this generique was only in kinshasa

Lopele , Linda Castro, Sous Sol and .... Que demande le peuple are out and have had a big success in the meantime.

People have started to think that Gessac can leave, felix will always have the crown for the generics (Thanks to Livre d'or and Young Bercy muana) since that time Gessac success esili !!

Why did Gessac have trouble settling in Europe? And why was Joss deported? And it seems like artists have to get visas in secret (in case a rival wants to sabotage them) and then announce the concert. They should've booked the flight in advance, it would've been bad if they missed that flight. It was probably Koffi who sent all those weird stuff to their hotels and backstage of Olympia, good that Wazekwa and Zenth got to play at Olympia and Zenith(given the circumstances).

joss was deported because of jealousy of one of his sidekicks,he went to buy a car in germany or holland with money given by another sidekick and the jealous one snitched to authorities and he got caught and could not even buy the car(he was already having arguments with wazekwa over that car,wazekwa was saying he'd  pay him the same car back in kinshasa with a more affordable price and no transport extra fee  while joss wanted his car coming from europe to show off from airport

by the way i forgot a little detail in the story,when we chose the outfits the musicians would wear,wazekwa's and  many guys in the staff originac choice was the usual black suit white shirt and red bow tie and i suggested another idea which was the white and golden,white to symbolize peace and golden because it was a dream come true,and we ended up voting between those two and also somebody else who wanted them to wear gladiator clothes like wenge tonya tonya in their olympia

Its also one of the reasons that Gessac doesn't want to return to Cultura, because Wazekwa humilated him about that on tv. When Gessac left, Felix Wazekwa went to the tv and dissed by saying that he doesn't know how to write and how to read lol.

Koffi Olomide wouldn't have been able to leave Joss behind in Kinshasa for the 2009 Zenith if he had those papers.

I think Gessac blew a chance, may would've loved that opportunity. He should've learned French and English better, now look at his career. Why was Joss deported was he in the country illegally? That side chick should've stayed in her lane. And did Koffi get the jacket Wazekwa wore the day before so fast? He must've been really mad that Wazekwa got to play Olympia.
