Fally Ipupa live in Owando being invited by Boventure Engobo, after having performed in Brazzaville for Congo's 50th independence anniversary.



During his arrival in Brazzaville he got insulted by Wenge Maison Mere-fans who were him calling pede (gay in french). During he had a beef with Werrason during that era.

I miss these old fally concerts where he would perform some strong sebene. I was usually okay with him performing rhumba for mostly the whole concert, because in few times when he would perform sebene, it was fire and on point. Nowadays it's so soft and lackluster. I'm not sure if its because of Felly Tyson or something.

Felly Tyson needs to be sidelined, because he is not creative anymore. Same with the crop of atalakus Fally has, none of them have filled the void Kabuya has left.

Yeah Fally’s concerts nowadays are boring and just monotonous sebene of original , ecole and libres parcours 2. He needs a clear out, but with his fans requesting the rhumbas and also the songs from tokoosss I doubt he’ll change anytime soon but if the Europe concerts return he probably will.

I have too much respect for Felly to want him out, I feel like he needs to be inspired again.

I have the deepest respect for Felly Tyson as a guitarist, but it doesn't change the fact that he hasn't composed anything special in years. If he can't find something interesting to play on albums and concerts, then he should be retired and give his space to a soloist that's hungry to prove himself.

Remember, Flamme Kapaya wasn't playing at his best level during A La Queue Leu Leu, but he improved when Mogratana was brought into the group because he felt his spot was being threatened.

The same logic should apply for every band, it's the only way our music will reach the heights of previous generations.
