Another talent that disappeared quickly was the atalaku Washington of Wenge Tonya Tonya! Last I heard of him, he had a brief spell in Quartier Latin.

Alot of Victoria Eleison-members were fed up the way Emeneya's staff (King Office) in Kinshasa were giving them a hard time months long when Emeneya was spending his time in Europe also they weren't paid, etc. and it took a long time to release Longue Histoire. In meantime Nouvelle Ecriture went twice to the Europe and came back with cars. This all made Spino la Dejatence and Guy Moller to decide to join both Quartier Latin. Guy Moller came back after a week, because of Emeneya calling Koffi to give him back (he was the main atalaku and one of the keymembers), but Spino stayed. He alot vocals in Attentat doing also some tshiluba-animation in Kamutshima and Victoire. He had to be at Bercy, but a conflict with Savanet Depitcho (about Sape and the way he weren't liking eachother) made him stay in Kinshasa (Depitcho was then a influent member in Quartier Latin). Despite those problems, he still was in Quartier Latin and tried to fight for a place along with Soleil Wanga and Fofo Le Collegien. Then he got a conflict with Montana Kamenga (also about SAPE and they couldn't also stand eachother), with Montana then gossping to Koffi that Spino wanted to confront Koffi with those expensive clothes and other stuff which made Koffi angry and ignoring him for a long time. This all made Spino decided to join Wenge Tonya Tonya. After the touring in Europe with Adolphe he decided like Chibida, Canard Solo and Papillion to stay and rejoined Victoria Eleison there. He performed with them in alot of concerts and festivals and participated to the Nouvel Ordre-album. Emeneya even gave him the chance to put a song Nouvel Ordre (sept sur sept). After that he returned with Emeneya and some musicians of Victoria Eleison to Kinshasa in 2003 and performed at FIKIN, in Kikwit, Matadi and Canfunfu (Angola). But then returned to Europe because his ex'wife wanted him back (he was then married to a french white women).



Koffi Olomide wanted to kill Wenge Tonya Tonya when Adolphe started to become a treat in his vision and started to attack on tv just to support JB. There were some little conflicts about sidekicks and later on the Tonya Tonya-camp accused him to lure Chibida in Quartier Latin and later on they accused him to have gave some of the keymembers of Tonya Tonya money to stay in Europe. Then Adolphe decided to attack to strongly by recruiting Koffi's female dancers Chouchou Mbayo, Miss Coulibaly and Midi Kompressor who were left behind in Kinshasa when Quartier Latin went to Europe in September 2002 for a long tour and the recorddings of Affaire d'Etat. They were left behind, because they weren't respecting Koffi's rules and became big headed. You can do everything with Koffi, but not touching his girldancers lol. So he promised himself to kill Tonya Tonya slowly. Adolphe wanted also to recruit Jordan Kusa and announced already on tv that they recruited him, but Jordan refused to join Quartier Latin. Koffi Olomide then recruited on his turn Washington in Quartier Latin, but was barely using him and there to much atalaku's (Brigade, CNN, Acide Wanzambi, Apocalyps and some other who never getting a proper chance). Then he was left behind when Quartier Latin went to Europe in december 2003. After that he tried to join Wenge Maison Mere when Bill Clinton Kalonji left, but didn't got a chance and decided later to settle in Kenya.



Koffi Olomide was promoting Segolene Royal alot of tv, because of him being the first Congolese bandleader to have a female atalaku in his band. She got alot of admiration from people in Europe when the DVD of Koffi's 52th birthday came out. Alot of people were angry against Gaspard Love when he tried to humilate Segolene Royal reminding her of her past. But shortly after that he became pregnant of his collegue Mukusa Ya Mbwa. She made a short apparence during the VIP-concert at Grand Hotel were they presented the B.E.K. (Cindy's dad received a jaguar from Koffi during the same concert).

Speaking of Segolene, in an interview she did like a year ago, she alleges that the reason she quit was things to do with witchcraft and being given conditions to follow in order to be aligned with the rest in the group though she did not elaborate on what those things were. Life for her changed for worse after leaving the group. She is now born again and sings in Church.     

However, there is this interview here at minute 20:24 where she says that the father to her kid is not a musician but rather a simple guy impregnated her the moment she left Quartier Latin and has presently neglected her and the kid. Is she denying the fact that Mukusa ya Mbwa could be the father?   

As a result of the neglect, she is currently suffering to an extent of lacking food and sleeping in Church as she cannot afford ordinary accommodation. It is a pity.
