That story about him recruiting Fally isn't true. Fally himself said in his first interviews after his departure from Quartier Latin that he was brought by Eric Tutsi to Quartier Latin. I just noticed that alot of ex'musicians and staffmembers who live in Luanda often invent stories to get girls and respect from people.

The problems of Academia really killed the career of Tshe Tshe le Balle, Eric Menthe and Tonton Lay who had big potentials. Tonton Lay joined Quartier Latin, but left quickly because of him not liking the way Koffi's behaviour. Eric Menthe joined BCBG but had problems with Seguin and Mbuta Kis. Tshe Tshe le Balle rejoined Quartier Latin, when Koffi gave him money to rejoin Quartier Latin. Which was just a tactic to destabilize Academia, joining then along with Kaddy Show. But had the bad luck to have Ile de Cambodge and Titina Al Capone before him in the pitch, so he couldn't participate to Affaire d'Etat. After Camboge's depature he was years in the shadow of Titina and never going to Europe. After Titina's depature he was still not going to Europe, because of Koffi prefering to use Champion in Europe concerts (Zenith '07 & '09).

That stuff about Titina and the dancer must have been before the Europe-tour of 2005-06, because Ferre Gola wasn't there anymore when Titina left. Participating then to those SWI-recordings, that acoustic-100% tchatcho concerts, FIKIN 2006, Abidjan, Pointe Noire, Brazzaville, etc. Saying to the press that he left, because of him not being happy with the salary he was getting as new chef d'orchestre (100 dollars every month). I didn't know that Titina also pays attention to dancers. He used to praise his wife Nene Makitakana alot (I don't if they are still together). I think the stuff happened in was 2005, because I remember the press reporting that Titina left and went back to Europe being very furious because of Tshe Tshe le Balle disrespecting him and Koffi wanting him out of the band. But not long after that we saw he back in those Kinshasa-concerts. There was also a moment that it was reported that Tshe Tshe wanted to fight with Titina and Tshe Tshe getting suspended.

 Who was that dancer Patience, Bibicia, Mamy Itazoma ? Koffi always leave both the dancer and musician behind in Kinshsa when they are about to tour in Europe, if an incident like that happens (Titina and JF Ifonge were lucky to have Europeen papers). Koffi punished all the dancers of Quartier Latin very hard when JF Ifonge made one of them pregnant (The reason that he didn't participate to Attentat). From then the dancers weren't rehearsing together with the musicians at Oshwe 5/5 anymore. The dancers were from that day always rehearshing in Binza at Mama Amy's house and in Montfleury at Koffi's house. After the Bercy-tour, they were all living in Montfleury, like they were in prison, almost not being able to do their own thing until 2008/09 and those who tried to break the rules were always left behind during tours (Kaddy Show, Chouchou, Bibi Sucre, Miss Coulibaly, Midi Kompressor, etc.).

Wow, Tshe Tshe le Balle was around Quartier Latin since Affaire d'Etat? I'm guessing Koffi left him behind because he feared that Tshe Tshe would run away in Europe if he took him on tour to participate in Monde Arabe or Danger de Mort.

From Academia, only Pitshou Concorde was lucky enough to survive the split of Academia, Felix Wazewka put him to good use in his band.

I think he is hyping it  by saying he recruited fally,but  later in the interview he said what was true,that after fally was brought in,it was him,rocky blanchard and co  doing tests at backside of koffi's house,its a bit like how some people around ferre say he recruited baby and co since he was there and on the mic to test some of them before nsone arrived
koffi had already noticed fally without paying attention when they started recording talent latent album he went to studio ndiaye and there was fally atele pitshou luzolo working on a chorus of a song and he asked  who they was
then eric when koffi still was not satisfied with recruitment,feeling he needs a guy with something eye-catching to make up for bouro loss told him he has his pire petit from bandal he can bring,which lead to him bringing some of the talent latent members( fally,genta,luzolo,guylain mbonda...) to tests(but kisindjora and depitcho also claim they brought fally )

in short for those who dont understand he says he tested fally when fally came in and they were getting along well(he even said in an interview years ago that he was going to church with fally until fally stopped on his own maybe to start pondering witchcraft even at minor level) until  fally became chef
he says that fally has inherited a special power from quartier latin,which had been given to babia, then to suzuki,thenbouro then to depitcho then him to be the talismans of the quartier latin lineup and that he still has it until today
he says titina falled out of favour with koffi because of a dancer snitching to koffi that titina tried to sleep with her and in a concert koffi turned and angrily ordered titina to leave drums and later called him and ranted at him and told him "in my group you guys must consider my female dancers like ghosts"
she asked if he has a problem with fally and he says he has no problem with fally today but back then their fallout started in a zimbabwe trip,and fally snitched to koffi about him and koffi called both of them and him tshetshe told fally in front of koffi to stop acting like a woman and koffi called two of the guys he trusted the most in the group binda bass and passe kosse and it seems like they already planned something along with fally because they all went the same way in telling koffi to fire him and to piss koffi off they told koffi that he was saying that sam tshintu has more success than koffi,knowing that he is an ex academia member and koffi asked to him several times if what they say is true and he said no and koffi told him he does not want to hear such things about him again,to the surprise of binda and co who expected koffi to be so mad
then while on plane he started singing an old song about people gossiping to taunt them and fally said "wait you will get suspended in kinshasa" and when they arrived in kinshasa fally got him suspended and told him tshetshe you are messing with me wait you will not be able to overturn things unless my parents come back to life
koffi called him to his house in private to ask whether its really true that he said sam has more success than him and he said i swear and told koffi that its fally who wants to leave the group and starts doing things to find a reason to leave and it inspired koffi(at that time relationship was starting to change a bit between koffi and fally) and koffi went to europe and ended up recruiting ferre to prove fally a point and fally was very pissed and was moaning a lot when he heard ferre was recruited
and when ferre arrived in kinshasa the quartier latin guys in general were barely approaching him and him tchetche came at a rehearsal and said hello everybody then he said hello chief and fally responded again,and he said " i was not talking to you but to ferre who  was the chef in maison mere" and he said he did that because he was still upset about how fally was snitching things to koffi even things he did not need to know and that a true friend would have told you in private bro dont do this or that because it can create this or that rather than snitching endlessly
and on another occasion when they were going on a road trip to the city of kasumbalesa near zambia border(if i am not mistaken) they were joking in the bus and he said montana is the one who dresses the best in the group and it pissed fally off
and he insists he is not jealous of fally he is just responding to questions about their fallout in the past
and way before in the interview he said the day of his test fally danced like he has never ever ever seen him dance until today(which can show he is not doing this interview with a bad heart,or he'd deny everything good about fally)

He wasn't fearing that he would ran away. When they went to Europe for Monde Arabe, it was planned that Titina would go with Ile de Camboge. Cambogge had even a visa for the Schengen-area in his passport, but he was left behind because of Koffi being angry after hearing from spies that he slept with Bibicia which wasn't even true. Then 2005 he had finally the chance to go to Europe and even had a visa, but Koffi prefered to leave him behind when Champion accepted his offer to rejoin Quartier Latin.
