From the original 1983 collaboration Lisanga Ya Banganga the CD was first reissued in 1992 to mark Franco's 3rd Anniversary then later Sonodisc reissued the CD in 1994 but adding Bimansha composed by Josky.

I'm not sure nobody has ever mentioned an event for Franco's 30th Anniversary.

I know that they are preparing an event in Paris since that Sec Bidens and Chouna Mongonda talked a little about that during Sam Mangwana's interview with Ado Yuhe. But I didn't see any poster, video or picture about that event on youtube or facebook.

I hate Sonodisc for the way they handled Franco’s catalogue. Cutting songs short and mix matching them even the Kinshasa Makambo Live album are simply recordings they took from Tele Zaire. If I were the Luambo family I’d take the masters that still exist, get an audio engineer to remix them and digitize them for streaming.

Sonodisc catalogue don't put the track as the original LP they mix them around as a compilation and the original title of Kinshasa Makambo was Ndunda.

You are spot on correct. Emongo Luambo needs to pursue this. He is the one who has relaunched OKJ.
