Here is Djuna Djanana doing some animations (not little). What do you think of those animations?

he's not animating like an atalaku. He's doing those traditional mongo animation like he used to do in Reddy's song Nako Zonga. If Djuna isn't invited as a singer or guy to do comments in song about girls or life then he's invited as musician to interpret those traditional mongo songs/animation, but he's not an atalaku. Otherwise Papa Wemba would have mentioned him as first atalaku in the history of Viva La Musica while its Alpacino "Bula Ntulu" or he would be Choc Stars's atalaku having a shaker in his hand a doing those humbu and kikongo cries (back in the 80s it was very humilating to be atalaku even a mbonda-player had more value, you will notice that they were always put in the corner far from the singers).

Those animations are ok, it reminds me of Swede Swede de Kintambo and Classic Swede Swede's glory years in Kinshasa back in late 80s and early 90s, but it not special or something like that.

It looks like they recorded that song very quickly. Bozi's son is doing heavy promotion on Facebook with his page Naelis, putting the album of his father everywhere (Deezer, Amazon, Spotify, etc.). But its still not a succes. I wonder what the album-sales are. He has to give La Mama, Ndombolhino and Les News de Stars every month money so that they could do heavy promotion, maybe that it would help a little bit.

Yes he invented many dances in Choc Stars, Viva La Musica and Langa Langa Stars. Yes he's the creator of the dance Swelema.

It was known that he was polygmous. He had many wives until that his succes was over. People were calling him stupid when he used to live in Kinshasa, because he was living with to wives but they were doing on the same thing prostitution in the town and Djuna being ok with that.

Djuna is seen as one of the first musician of aspect (being a poor singer, but having the look to stand before the mic).

Djuna Djanana was already in Viva La Musica before the creation of La Nouvelle Generation. He left Choc Stars in Kinshsa and went to settle in Paris with his wife and children. He met Evoloko there and rejoined Langa Langa Stars for a short time, releasing the LP "Le Retour de Djuna Djanana". Then when Choc Stars came in Europe, he rejoined them and stayed in Europe when they returned to Kinshasa. He hadn't then a band for a long time until that Papa Wemba requested to him to rejoin Viva La Musica, staying member until 2004 when Wemba decided to disband Viva La Musica "Cours des Grands" and focus on Nouvelle Ecriture in Kinshasa and the new formed band Viva Tendence in Europe which which had members like Mamale, Guy Guy Fall, Guejo Star, Pitshou Santiago, Papy Louange, Patou Bofosa, etc. (They released an album called Nkuzi Lele in 2006 and had some concerts).

Djanana said in Sekele or his interview with MJ Mimosa that he went to buy a ticket to France, taking Ghandi (Maitre Gims) and his wife, meeting there Evoloko and deciding to rejoin Langa Langa Stars there and participating to the concerts of Choc Stars when they came and waiting for their following tour but they didn't came anymore (Ben Nyamabo in prison, Defao leaving very soon, etc.) and Papa Wemba asking him to join Viva La Musica since that he didn't had musicial activities anymore.

I don't remember Djuna recording a disc with Viva La Musica before 1994 (Foridoles), also Viva didn't had a disc since 1990 with Adida Kiesse. Only those solo LP's and albums of Modogo Gianfranco Ferre and other sapeurs.

I don't know if Esperant Kisangani became an official member of Viva La Musica. But I saw him many concerts of the early 90s and late 80s, hearing him also in LP's of Modogo Gianfranco Ferre (Ba Venants, Place Vendome, etc.). Huits Kilo and Rigo Star also participated to many LP's in Europe, but they weren't Viva-members
