If someone wrongs you, whatever the reason, they lose the moral advantage in your eyes. If they recognize their fault and ask for forgiveness, they regain some of that moral ground. If you refuse to engage that request you also lose the moral advantage. Koffi on a personal level is a clown of a person and will pay for his sins as the deity so wishes. If God forgives, then man should too and I don't think the huffing and puffing here is gonna change anything. And judging from the emotional outbursts on this forum, one may think Koffi asked for forgiveness from our bloggers here. If Koffi did not personally ask for you to forgive him then kindly stop mourning more than the bereaved.

Why are people getting mad?

People don't trust Koffi! And it's his own fault! Koffi been playing the "sorry I was wrong, let's be friends again and I'll stab you in the back later" game for decades.

So it's normal for people to be wary of him.

However, I hope he's sincere. And we need him to act like that since he's one the last "giants" alive. However, he'll need to show his good faith. Not the usual sweet talk on TV.

But I hope the reconciliation will be real and we will hopefully get something good out of it, eve, for his Bercy!

My point is that Koffi Olomide needs to focus one thing that will matter to him more. It is family. He has issues with some of his elder children which is unacceptable. He needs to work on that first. He needs to stop allowing his resentments towards their mothers to get in the way of his relationship with those kids. He needs to pray to God to help him heal and reconcile with those elder kids. That is very important.

Secondly he needs to have a intervention with help of Didi Stone to organize a family meeting with her, Cindy Le Coeur, Aliya and other children to discuss their issues and hopefully that they will heal their resentments towards each other and they will be a family again for Koffi's sake. Make sure that they can respect one another to make Koffi more happier. He can use the examples of the deaths of his father and brother Didi Olomide to say that they need to be there for one another.

If Koffi wants to have peace, he needs to focus on reconciling with his elder kids. That will make Koffi's life more meaningful. I want the best for Koffi absolutely but family is first.

You know if you have a happy or at least a stable home, your whole attitude radiates everywhere. I think he needs to start at home.
