Zachary is the one who destroyed congolese music journalism. He came from the last generation of congolese music journalists following the classic model created by their elders. If you look at early Zachary interviews, he's very collected, respectful and calm.
But in the late 90's, Zachary understood that congolese society was imploding, so he took that opportunity by making himself a pioneer in trash journalism. He created a show called "Feux-Vert", which was extremely successful. And this show openly praised beefs aka "polemiques". It normalized vulgarity and idiocy in music journalism.
Zachary paved the way for all the vulgarity displayed today by all these idiots roaming the internet and calling themselves analysts. He's their father.
Just for that, he deserved to be in jail.
