BLANCHARD MAVUZI MAMBU AKA BLANCHARD MOSAKA

blanchard was born in kinshasa on 27th of july 1969 in kinshasa,and grew up in the area of kintambo and will quickly discover himself a talent to repair things at a very young age
and he will like most young guys be taken to church by his late mother who sang in church and his father who used to work in CHANIC(a belgian company involved in shipyards,industrial repair and much more)
under direction of "bicross" gola the father of ferre who he used to sing with in the company's musical group during ceremonies
and his taste for music will really develop in 1980's as he starts following his older brother papy mavuzi aka el pazo who is the drummer in the newly born wenge musica but he will mainly watch just concerts or sometimes hold clothes for his brother
then he'll discover the environment of music properly in the mid 1980's around his elder brother from the area djouna mumbafu who takes him under his wings along with another blanchard,and they go with him to see pepe kalle and follow djuna in several situations
then he will discover in himself musical talent,along with his football skills and ability to repair things,when one day he has to take mbonda spot in a wenge musica concert where mbonda player don pierrot did not come
and in the same period he will create an animation "bileko mamehh" which will be used by one of the first atalakus of drc ditutala in choc stars(and he will explain in recent interviews that he got inspired of that animation by watching djouna,which is why in the animation there are the names of djuna bileku and his older brother yaya londa)
but his father who has then moved to working as a mechanician for president mobutu does not want to hear about his children doing music (which is why he'll prefer el pazo and the next one osée mavuzi going to army rather than doing music) and encourages his children to go far at school to get "respectable" jobs in the future
and in 1989 he'll give satisfaction to his father as he graduates from school as one of the 5 best students of a "celebrity-studded" class of physics and mathematics along with the likes of pitshou savanet,djino kota,machiro kifaya...
but as his dad is still against him doing music he rebels and decides to go to angola to hustle rather than continuing class while he sees his friends like suzuki who was one class behind them starting to join big groups
 and once there he will discover again other aspects of his talent which is writing songs and proverbs which will greatly help him in the future(this is a family gift as his two older brothers wrote songs for artists of older generations,his younger brother is one of the biggest animation provider ever of drc,his late younger sister wrote some gospel songs and his first son blana also writes songs for guys of his generation)
when he returns to kin 1 year and half later,he decides to go to class again and learn electrical industry and installation and while he studies for 4 years he is taken by yaya londa and fofo le collegien to write for madilu system either complete songs or adding parts to the song they'd give their boss madilu
and at the same time  he still dreams of having a chance in football and will be shining in the team of their area in 3rd division and is recruted in the team of grand hotel where he'll get some money which will help him pay classes
and his future nickname mosaka will come at a tournament as one of he is meant to share a plate with a teammate,and that teammate finishes all the kwanga(cassava cooked in leaf wrap) and leaves him with the soup only to eat(mosaka means juice from palm nuts) and that mate will keep taunting him with the name mosaka to mock the fact he was not reactive enough to share kwanga with him
and it will end up following him with even his own brothers starting to call him like that
in 1997 when wenge musica is about to collapse he is taken by a friend to apply to join wenge musica but not as a singer,instrumentist or atalaku but as a spokesmen,as they see a young guy roger ngandu,from jb mpiana's fan club, starting to appear sometimes on tv here and there between his classes at university,to talk in the name of wenge musica which is touring  outside kinshasa
and he's taken to jb mpiana's house to apply and jb to make it difficult for him tells him  i'll give you some days,come back with a cassette of 100 proverbs 100 different ways of praising him and 50 different ways of praising wenge musica describing their philosophy
and to jb's surprise when he comes back it coincides with the day he is working on omba with pascal poba and eldorado and papa simaro also visiting  to bring him a gift
and they'll all listen to the cassette and be so impressed that they urge jb to recruit him
and he will be accepted by the guys in wenge musica especially when they remember he is actually the younger brother of el pazo but he will not appear on tv,mainly working on radios then and doing street promotion of wenge
he'll follow jb who is his favorite among wenge admins after split in wenge bcbg and there starts tv appearances with his style of giving news along with proverbs
in 1999 when bcbg is about to perform at zenith a list is not made as then the group's number of musicians was not that big so he expects being on the list but to his surprise mbuta kiss announces him and roger ngandu they are not travelling (as ngulu's are taken instead) and in the meantime has been introduced to koffi olomide who tries to lure him into his band,and secretly contribute on a couple of attentat songs
in 2000 he will participate heavily with proverbs,most of the TH generique and correction of some songs and celeo scram who knows him from seeing him with his pire petit kakol behind the scenes asks him to give him some animation on a cassette
and that cassette with serve in terrain eza mine and later in some bill clinton solo work
in 2001 when the group is about to perform at bercy he expects once again to be on list especially he knows it will be a huge list but jb has another plan which is to let him remain in kinshasa to promote future stade des martyrs event and he will stay,and despite being obviously disappointed he does a great work in promotion of the concert
he will keep leaking secretly songs to various artists but jb does not punish him as he does not want to lose him,and he is also heavily contacted

by other leaders who promise europe tours to him but he prefers remaining loyal
he will also showcase another hidden talent in writing comedy movies for several artists like sai sai and so on and will be participating in a lot of tv shows outside music and this widely talented aspect people discover from him earn him nicknames like le savant by koffi or le magicien du verbe by karmapa,bongo ebele by his leader(it means genius,wizard,very wise...)
he will make his first trip with bcbg when they go to record in south africa and will contribute with three songs on album temperature of alba,le baron and amour sans tache aswell as co writing esau with bompema
in the meantime he will give some parts of koffi's affaire d etat and monde arabe(ko ko ko of fally and jipson's biblia plus his co writing of inch allah plus some parts of montana's song) aswell as two songs for kester and some parts on papa wemba's somo trop
he will go again to south africa to represent jb at kora's as jb could not care any less about kora trophy
when bcbg is about to return to schengen countries after ban, he is still not on the list and suspects roger ngandu to be behind it as roger had started travelling to europe already and insults roger after hearing that he influenced mbuta kiss to remove him and he gets suspended by seguin for "direspecting his chef of marketing department"and is once again approached by most groups and 6 weeks after his suspension is lifted as various donors put intense pressure on jb
and he returns and contributes with animations used by late cellulaire and the song loniatara for cedric guezula aswell as genta's song plus several correction on songs
in 2014 after repeated attacks from koffi olomide when fans of bcbg put pressure on jb to react jb decides to remain silent but with the encouragement of his colleagues mosaka decides to react strongly,later joined by roger in hitting back hard against koffi and naming koffi "vieux ebola"
and he will be brutally arrested following koffi's complaint and koffi will proudly film him and post in the presence of two of the biggest generals of congolese army video while promising him 3 years in jail
at that moment jb is in europe and when he returns he  gets him out of jail and he meets koffi again who talks to him as if nothing happened and he responds with irony to koffi and although behind the scenes he tells him he is unhappy with some of the strong language he used,in public for the sake of the strange spirit existing in our music,he sees in what mosaka did a great sign of loyalty
he suggests to mosaka to release an album given his writing contribution for years but he prefers getting a song on album first to benefit from the group's fame rather than risking on his side
he will then start promoting his song for balle de match and will also finally make his first trip outside africa and enter the second category of highest salary and bonus of the group(there is the category from seguin to genta in order of arrival in the group,the category from rio to atshuda,and the various lower ones)
and he once again contributed on several songs for that album,like the ted tenday song which is the last song to be recorded recently at last minute
and also during the last years,he has very strongly defended the case of spokesmen who koffi wanted to ban from tv despite himself having spokesmen like merveille rambo and write letters to several tv's and goes to see along with roger ngandu and sankara the director of national tv to keep authorization to appear on tv to promote their groups

For the animations on TH, is he giving cries to Tutu Caludji? If I recall, his brother gave Caludji the cries of ndombolo back in 1997 so perhaps he served a similar function on TH generique.

Jb should really keep this guy and kibens to work beyond the scene and have some talented singer do the job .. So if understand well him and kinbens have been great sources of successful songs in DRC..

oh yeah in and outside bcbg they have contributed quite a lot,especially kibens,basically sometimes jb just choses other writers to get something different

I forgot to mention that recently he went to a zaiko concert and ya jossart insisted that they take him to stage and said "applause for this man,he has helped me out on several albums,thanks to my young brother jb mpiana"

I actually think that there needs to be a duo album between Mosaka and Sankara de Kunta. Mosaka can sing high and Sankara can sing low. He may sound like a combination of Koffi Olomide and Werrason.
