Listening to their work im Generique and in Rhumbas it seems that the new generation guys are more gopd at making generique instead of being singers? Robinio could give headeache to the new guys who are animating and Fabregas basically only successful generique while people sleep pn his rhumbas, Robinio seems to do not know how to sing when he does Rhumba

Fabregas is not a great great singer but a good singer who has released rumbas that are different to the norm and are not sleepy only this latest album guess is releasing too much materials that we cannot keep up anymore but I still like Epave while Robinho to me should not pay too much attention to the critics about rumba as he is good at what he does best generique which seems to be a hit whenever he releases one so why change a wining formula.

If Mwana Nsalu (Mz. Bazu) were still alive, she’d be all over this post. God rest her soul. Werra hired Fabregas as a singer. If he was an atalaku, he would’ve been hired as such. If he was a bad singer, Koffi wouldn’t have lent his support to his career.  Fabro’s rhumbas are top notch, his generiques are exciting especially now he’s relying on more guitar than keyboards. I find it funny, with the way the industry is in Congolese music, if they don’t sell a lot of records as Fally or Koffi, they attack their talent. Regardless of how it’s doing on the charts, Cible is a solid record and probably the best of his career. Robinio’s one hit doesn’t even hold a candle to Fabregas.

We don't need to get emotional, it is my opinion. Fabregas got the attention of Koffi becuase Koffi saw a clear occasion of hurting his rival friend Werra and if it wasn't for Koffi honestly I don't know if Fabro would have had this impact. In fact except for Zigida who failed to reach Africa like mascara no song of Fabregas really stuck to people. I don't know how many Rhumbas of Fabregas are known or sang or loved as much as Liputa, Jugement or even BM amd D de D. Clearly Fabregas has the same Robinio problem that it is to fail to make impact of Rumbas.
Actually Fabregas vocals in Wenge were always funny type like. Deplick was right Fabregas is more of a comedian when he sings than an actual singer. Werra took him because he knowd how to write songs not particularly for his voice. Fabregas was loved in Wenge for few reasons. He was the smallest, he knew how to write lyrics the friendship beteeen him and Deplick amd to some extent Cafè Rhoum created buzz amd fan curiosity over them

Fabregas is a good singer.

I didn’t like Fabregas when he was in WMM. But when he dropped Anapipo that’s when I understood. This is an open forum, you’re entitled to your own opinions. I just think the criticisms launched at some of our Congolese artists are unfair. Say what you want about them but Werra and Koffi are no fools. Listen to the history of our music, how different is he from past unorthodox artists? Koffi put Bouro Mpela in QL, who is unorthodox just like Fabro and then came along Ndombolo. I see why he put his name behind him. I’d rather you just say you didn’t care for his music than to diminish his talent.
