HÉRITIER WATANABE COURTS ARREST, END OF CAREER AMID SEX TAPE SCANDAL
CONGOLESE Rhumba star Héritier Bondongo Kabeya, known by his stage name as Héritier Watanabe is in the midst of a sex scandal after a video he recorded being intimate with married socialite Naomie Mbando went viral on social networks on Thursday 14th November, 2019.
The 37-year-old is now all over social media as the subject of discussion.
In a 1 minute clip that has been leaked and all over Congolese media the couple are clearly seen in the act. It is not known how the videos got online but the few audible words uttered by Ms. Mbando showed her displeasure at being filmed and insisted that the musician put an end to the recording of the video.
Angry relatives and friends have accused Héritier of leaking the video and threatened to sue him. The public prosecutor in Kinshasa has reportedly gotten involved and will investigate the matter.
Less than 24 hours after the release of the video, the production company of the artist and the general management of the Trace TV channel have suspended all contracts with Watanabe.
His producers on Friday, 15th November, 2019, issued a statement condemning Héritier Kabeya Bondongo's antics.
The TRACE Group has suspended all collaboration with the artist and as such all the videos and songs of the artist will not be broadcast on its channels or those of Radio Partners.
