Looks like its from a cd-booklet. So means it  that the live-album of Wenge BCBG's concert at Le Bataclan exist ? But why did Simon then just upload the sound of the VHS-version that Ingenieur LZ uploaded on youtube on all digital platforms while the original cd of that concert exist ?

Hahaha look Nana standing there. How was it living with those musicians of Wenge 4x4 years long as only girl in the band after that Carine left ? Ekokota has to come to Ado Yuhe's show or that Ingrid Kabongo. What made him always hide from the media ? Last year I saw sapeur Norbat de Paris making a video with him, but he just used a tactic to make the video short, so that Norbat couldn't ask him questions.

Simon was or is still the worst producer when it came things like concert releases .im still not sure why jb liked him .perhaps because he is the one who believed in him and gave him a shot of his first album.but still to me i think he has ruined jbs career.i pretty sure if jb has chosen to go to jps or other major producer things could have been better.

Was Robert Ekokota forced out from Wenge BCBG or did he leave on his own? His silence could be holding a grudge about the reasons he left music altogether; people forget that it was spiritual things that were effecting him especially during the European tour of 1998 when Titianc was being recorded. You could see that he wasn't the charismatic guy that fans were used to seeing in interviews and concerts.





There's a folkloric introduction to the generique of Titanic that is similar to that in Pentagone, both of which are credited to Robert Ekokota. But Tutu Caludji likely sang all the cries, despite not being known for creating animations.

Robert Ekokota left after Wenge BCBG's second concert of their first Europe tour which was at La Madeleine in Brussels. There used to be some pics of those concert with Alain Mpela, Blaise Bula,JB Mpiana and Aimelia Lias each wearing one of the 4 letters BCBG, but the website that contained those pics was shot down 3 years ago. It also had an interview of JB Mpiana giving the reasons of the split, the program of their tour, their return to Kinshasa and album title (which then Bue before changing it into Titanic) with their desire to release it in May 1998. Wenge BCBG's concert at in Brussels was interrupted by those New Jack-gangsters (Congolese youngsters of that time living in Brussels) who were sent and financed by Hugues Luvelela who was Werra's cousin who used to support Wenge Maison Mere. It was then said that those gangsters hitted Ekokota with a baseball bat and Ekokota's silence in the media during all the years made people say that he isn't able to talk and mentally ill (while he was present during Werra's arrival in Chateaux Rouge before the Bercy-show).Other said that he had a brain-tumor which made him being absent from the rest of the tour that Wenge BCBG made in Europe, Canada and the USA. But back in 1999, just before  the Zenith-show of Wenge BCBG he made an interview with his ex'wife, saying that everything was allright that he would come to Kinshasa and his ex'wife showing the scar of the operation they made. There was also another interview of him before that were he said that he would rejoin Wenge BCBG at Zenith, but it didn't happen. In 2000 he tried to start a solo career and made a band in Brazzaville, but it didn't work and after that he went totally silent. There are some people that Robert is angry towards JB & Werra for some reasons, other say that he's dissapointed because of the way people tend to forget him in the history of Wenge BCBG.

In your opinion, why do you think he has avoided giving interviews all these years? I hope the members of Wenge Musica living in Europe still pay their friend a visit from time to time, they've made too much history to let a friendship go to waste.

The polemic between Wenge BCBG and Masion Mere is long over, so I'm sure anything he says about that period won't cause those New Jack-gangsters to give him a hard time (a lot of them are older men with families themselves).
