Not only this album, also Virgule was recorded in the same studio in Brazzaville.

I thought that Nadim (Sonima), Henri (Sonodisc) and Jean Pierre Saah (JPS) were not happy that congolese artist or bands record their albums in Brazzaville and Kinshasa instead of France (Sauvetage, La main noire, the generic of Danger de mort, Pouvoir, A la queue leu leu, etc.).

That's not true. Nadima, Henri de Bodinat and JPS hadn't a problem with artists recording their albums in Brazzaville and Kinshasa. They were often sending mobile-studios to them, to record their albums with a good sound at Studio Ndiaye, Eben Ezer (Brazzaville), RTNC, etc. Obligatoire, Alerte Generale, etc. had all good sounds.

The whole album of Danger de Mort was recorded in Kinshasa (70%), in Europe they did just the mixing, corrected the vocals and the sebene of Moudoungou and Marents. Pouvoir was for the most part recorded in Europe, in Kinshasa they just did Sa Majeste, Simon, Nakombo and Volume II. A La Que Leu Leu was for 100% recored in Paris, at Studio Harryson.

A good example is Reflexion (Pascal Poba, before the split of Wenge), Couvre Feu (Wenge El Paris), Copinage (Defao) & Nous y sommes (ZLL) were recorded in 1997 with the drum-sound at Studio Meko.

that's because the used the instruments of that studio. Maika Munan went to record Nouvelle Ecriture at IAD of Brazzaville with a mobile-studio and the songs (Consolation, Ba Diamants, Effo Perso, Mamu Kapinga and Jeancy) had a good sound. General Defao recorded Bana Congo vol. 1 & 2 and Guerre de 100 Ans at Studio Meko and it had an excellent sound, like it was recorded in Europe.

The arranger of A la queue leu leu was Al Nzimbi the guy who also arranged in A la une) and the rumba of Philipe Guez ?

yeah, the arranger Al Nzimbi. He not only arranged A La Une. He also arranged Feux de l'Amour, Tremblement de Terre, Kibuisa Mpimpa and many other albums. Philphe Guez programmed all rumba's of A La Que Leu Leu (Victime d'Amour, Salsister, Examen & Nostalgie), except Maman Mabe.

Yes. I forgot. But the drumsound of Philippe Guez in A la queue leu leu aren't the same like Eureka, Je m'appelle toi, Yo nani, Héros ya congo & Affaire d'état in 2002. His keyboards changed in many years ?

I forgot Youlou Mabiala's Infraction who was also recorded there in 1997 after the release of La releve (he didn't sung on this album).

Yes. It's Arnaud Laguna who created his own studio in Brazzaville.

Some albums were recorded in Cameroon and was mixing done in Paris.

With Denide Moprezo and Henri de Bodinat (who also distribued in Obus Kanga Bissaka, Force de frappe, Cote ouest, Professionelle of Jarrys Fimbo's band and Confirmation).

With Nadima Mohd

Yeah, and i that heard Defao said in Foguy "Awa na Paris" and Kabose in Terrano "ngai awa na paris eeeh", i think that Defao, Kabose and Pecos went to europe only for the mixing and correcting some vocals in Guerre de 100 ans. But with Theo Mbala's departure made me sad, if he stayed until the band split.

In Bana Congo why did Defao gave only Rabbi more space ?
