Today I was thinking about a thing listening to Corageux by Werrason in Formidable almost 90 to 100 per cent of songs that Atalakus made are not credited to them for example even in group albums the generique always credited to the leader wheter the songs by singers are rightfully credited ti singer. Furthermore I see that usually Atalaku are the poorer ones once they end their time in a group. Ror example taking Wenge example Fabregas, Robinio (which was barely an active member of Maison Mere) Ferre, Heritier and to some extent Deplick look way richer and have had far more success compared to Lobeso, Bercy (yes he had a mini solo career) Lobeso, Prince, Kene Kene, Roi David, Kirikou, Ambulamce, Anti-Balle, Brandon Avatar, of course Brigade and Bill are exception because they have had the potential to have great solo career and both of them had wonderful solo career with Bill making a great comeback on his latest flops with Kibota but they couldn't produce a solid alnum that people actually like from start to the end.
Celeo instead he kinda had a successful start of career with Tosa Ollia, the Fally and Ferre feat etc. But his career dwindled because of his attention to polemique.
What do you think? Why do Atalaku usually have the bad hand once they go solo

Another thing. When you read an album booklet, you'll hardly find any atalaku cry anywhere. Not even on the generique, in which case the group vocals (if there are any group vocals) are included instead. Almost like the atalaku come in and spontaneously record their cries. This lack of credit probably says a lot about their position in the Congolese band hierarchy.

they have it hard because people do not see them capable of having an album let alone having a solo career,people say bongo akoyemba nini disque kaka generique na generique?you'll notice all of them start with a producer but it never lasts compared to ferre fally and co who had several albums with same producers
so either you are lucky to have sponsors like bill who back you 100 per cent as long as you give them their ads or you are like celeo and brigade fighting on your own to fund your albums and you can have the odd hit here and there
animation is a strange case these days,like it does not count but it does count too,its a bit overlook at expense of foreign music but people will still judge on views and instant impact
proof of how deep the problem is that even atalakus themselves struggle to have two sebene songs on their albums,donors do not want that,and its not common to do generique for a donor,so they have to go on rumba field where they get proper attention only when they feature a succesful singer

so many things wrong in our music, which is why i am happy at times when they branch out and do some acrobats tunes or other endeavors to make extra money .i.e. youyou Mobangue, Etats unis, Mapipo etc.... Having a band is just too much for a simple atalku, the perfect example wold be somebody like Arafat yorobo or most ivorian dj's. from being dj's to atalakus to artists, even the might Bill clinton failed. The business schematics of congolese music need t be re-evaluated.
