For me it depends how you go about it there’s some who just actually serve God and there’s those who are bitter and crazy (Jf ifonge) and just chat nonsense, I also feel like when they expose the world music where was the energy when they were in the same music.

You don't know their history unless 5 or 6 musicians all the musicians you see going to big leaders and big groups are looking for a way not to get money but to survive and have something to eat. Until 2010's (before the financial crisis) music was seen as the only way to get out of poverty and to give a better life to the family (since in Kinshasa and in all Congo tobe honest, it is common to see the most well financial members helping his entire family) you have mever beem to Congo I guess well, a very good friend of mine has been there amd he said that despite being jobless in a racist country where is difficult to find job like in Italy he feels extremely lucky towards his Congolese brothers. There people from allthe level of society beg, beg, beg, little kids, ladies, workers etc. My guy has a fair amount of success with ladies but he said that Congolese girls wonderstood he was from Europe and treat him like he was God. To you why that is? These kids turned adults who go in groups will do everything for their family to eat and this is why you see people so well accepting going towards the satanism world to get success. It is natural that after a while you want to go away from that world. Even if you have success

That’s the real reason that will not be publicized. She joins a long list of female singers and/or dancers that went religious because of the difficulties of being in a male-centric industry. 

It’s really tough to sustain as a female Congolese artist and that’s a real shame. The big female artists that remained secular (well overall) are Mbilia Bel, Tshala Muana, Barbara Kanam, and Pirette Adams (Brazza-Côté d’ivoire).

If Cindy ever goes solo (aka divorces Koffi) she will go back to religious music

I feel like MEJE30 never really established her own sound when she first went solo and people eventually got bored with her, as I did. I enjoyed the music of Mbilia Bel, Tshala Muana, Barbara Kanam, and Pirette Adams because its distinctive and their sex appeal mixes organically with their overall style.

She had alot private problems (she is years long trying to get pregnant, but it didn't happen. It is a big problem in the Congolese community, if a woman can't get children. Also Meje 30 doesn't have French papers while she lives already 7 years in France, etc. Then I'm also not talking about "ba retours" she was getting). So its normal that she decided to switch

That wasn't the problem. Meje 30 was back from 2008 until 2013 along with Cindy the most popular female singer of DR Congo. The problem was that when she released her first solo album, she went immediatly to settle in Europe, while she had to do the promo in Kinshasa. (That's also the reasonwhy Koffi decided to give Cindy the opportunity to release the 6-6-6 soloalbum, just in order to counter Meje 30). On the moment when she came in Europe, the Combattans-embargo was very strong and you hadn't those small concerts of Europe-based artists yet, showcases of artists coming from Kinshasa were forbidden and artists like Werrason, Felix Wazekwa, Meje 30, Fally Ipupa were followed everywhere (receiving "chasse a l'homme"like they say) getting riksing to get beaten badly and receiving death-threats. I remember Meje 30 risking her life when she was invited for a playback in Toulouse back in 2013. Meje 30 hadn't any choices then staying home with her boyfriends years long until that the combattans calmed down started to allowed showcases and playbacks, etc. from 2016.

Another thing that killed Meje30's career was when he was about to settle in Europe, that rumours were spread that she slept with Tshala Muana husband Claude Mashala. Which made alot of fans dissapoined and many donors closing their doors since that they are controlled by her.

But all jokes aside, I'm surprised she hasn't gotten papers. I would imagine there's plenty of men with papers that would be more than happy to marry her, is having a child a must for long-term settlement? I'm not too familiar with European immigration

i just followed one interview of her in french,she revealed that she made the decision in july of 2019 after(another) miscarriage and from then it had been building in her and that she basically went to church to try to solve her issue of multiple miscarriage but then she got touched and it took another dimension
