One song has the modern benefit of going viral, the other is a continental and generational classic from 22 years ago. Apples  to oranges. I pick the classic any day of the week. 

To be honest, I know it’s a talking point, but debates on YouTube views are fruitless (no pun intended). Too many variables to views to draw a simple conclusion.

If Youtube was created in the 80's or in the first part of the 90's and that the majority of African peoples had Internet so these classics would have reached 100 to 500 millions of views
