After it Werra accused Koffi for wanting to corrupt his dancers to stay in Europe. WMM-Fans also entered the war, claiming that Koffi copied Maison Mere’s intro of double zenith in the No Touch a Ling-videoclip. The war became official when Koffi openly attacked Werrason in an interview with the French diaspora radio Africa N1 and Werra reacting softly by saying that Koffi can’t produce the stuff he does on stage. After it Koffi tried to lure Ferre, JDT and Bill info Quartier Latin by offering money, but they all refused. Then when the Les Marquis was made, Koffi came proud on tv and said “sikoyo toko tala soki ako sala lisusu nini” and Werra with his staff being furious, accusing Koffi being behind the creation of Le Marquis. Bill would refer to it in the song Trshison “vous accuser Mopao eeh c’est la trahison". After that Koffi would reconcile again with Werrason during Maïsha Parc, Werra inviting him at La Zamba Playa and some weeks later at LSC. But the Peace wouldn’t last long, because Werrason, his staff and fans would declare war when Ferre Gola joined Quartier Latin. With both camps firings shots, the most coming from QL’s side. Koffi then ridiculizing Werrason often in the media for the fact that can’t sing but calls himself formateur, that Werra bought his when he was very old and that he never comes to the Maïsha meetings, because he has to pray with frère Patrice. Koffi tried to lure Flamme Kapaya into Quartier Latin by offering money, a house in Bandal and a new car, Flamme almost accepted the offer. But when the affair was known the press, Flamme ran away, getting already threats from Maison Mere fans. In the same period Werra recruited Brigade & Patience, Koffi then becoming mad and saying in private that he would buy a gun to kill for fact that he recruited Patience who was more than a dancer (Ferre wanted said that he would talk about it in 2ème soin who never came) and that he would put his money to finish Maison Mere. Koffi tried to lure Kakol, Eboa Lotin, J3 and Héritier in Quartier Latin but it all didn’t work. He even kidnapped spokemen King Tekila to convince him to get them into QL, but it didn’t work. Eboa Lotin is slapping himself for not taking that offer. But why do so much Maison Mere Members (who were unpaid) rejected Koffi's offer knowing he would give those cars and those money to them? I mean people now might say yesit is Maison Mere they had better chance going solo than join Koffi and be successful but at the time no one would know if a solo career would go well so it was brave but also stupid to stay with Werrra by those Maison Mere members

So that's also why they left him behind for Zenith 2010, despite having a recorded a song in Kinshasa for Malewa 2.

Marie Paul and Kofi Olomide, helped Werra during the separation of Wenge, with one clear motive, to weaken  Jb Mpiana who at the time was riding high with the success of Feux D Amour. They wanted to have two weakened Wenge. However to their surprise just like COVID 19 has mutated and start to infect human, Werrason became too Big and a threat to their Domination and they had to find a way to contain him. And the spelled the end of Marie Paul, it was now all about Werra. in the early 2000s the completion was now between Werra and Kofi.

So Koffi only had beef with JB Mpiana for helping Werra during the split? Or at least it seemed like the catalyst for the feud

yeah a decent part of it is that,then when koffi became cool  with jb he tried to over do the thing to hurt werra while behind the scenes jb and werra were getting back to their normal relationship an the fact that jb and werra started to show clearly that the public relationship was also changeing it weakened the jb koffi friendship before other things stepped in,and it took another dimension with that papa wemba video after their "reconciliation" with koffi
even the werra to koffi concert which did not happen last minute was because of solidarity with jb and werra preferring a distant relationship with koffi over "fear" of his "game attitude"
if people paid close attention to some of the koffi interviews of recent months and last two years he tried to several times make subtle hints to werra that he is not anymore into the "game attitude" where he has to united with x against y then twist,then do this or that to hurt x or y so werra should approach him,they are the only high profile "good relationship" who are never seen together

He would give those clothes also to CNN for te Attentat-videoclip, just to humiliate JB. When Koffi went on tour for Bercy it was a little bit quit. Then when Koffi returned the war restarted, when they accused him for wanting to steal Kilimandjaro & Ali Mbonda. Blaise Élément, Mosaka & Roger Ngandu who were in Kinshasa started to insult Koffi strongly on tv and Kisindjora & Zobozi replying back. bro people died over those years of rivalry and not 1 2 3 4 5 or even 10 more than that,i personally know a guy who was taunted hard by his wife who was a maison mere fan about the first jb martyrs which was stopped prematurely by rain and he could not take it and hit her hard with those  big woods  people use to make fufu and she died  and he went himself to police and  spent years in  prison and he is now a pastor
even kibens when fans wanted clearout got his house burned while he was having a concert with bcbg
there was fights between musicians themselves and between fans of groups every week almost

the jb vs werra war was something else. Alot of people died for nothing and many people stayed with ugly scars, some even became paralysed. I´ve never seen a rivalery like that in Congolese music. It wasn´t normal anymore how people got divorced or were fighting just over JB & Werra.
