He absolutely killed it! I will never understand why Koffi preferred Binda Bass over him, Rocky is a monster and he deserved to have a better career instead of being sidelined that much over the years. He’s the best Bassist in QL history in my opinion.

I really hope and pray Koffi brings him for U Arena even though it’s incredibly unlikely because Binda will be in Europe so it saves Koffi time to not apply for a visa.

I’ve been telling you we’re twins hahaha, he’s one of those artists who I look at and I get so pissed due to them not getting the career they deserved. The guy had a string of bad luck.

Yeah it was a big mistake from him to rejoin QL before Zaiko went for the europe tour, it was too bad he joined Academia kinda late just after Viagra and then the ngulu affaire preventing them from going on tour and then the group collapsing.

He went to Zaiko and when Zaiko was about to go to Europe, Koffi, who knew that the Zaiko was about to leave, lured him back to QL with money and a car just to prevent him from going to Europe. Then when QL went to Europe, Koffi left him in Kin.

Yes, it surprised anyone and people saying that he couldn’t do that, because he’s the voice of Quartier Latin. In the VHS "Papa Wemba-Koffi Olomide, Qui dit Vraie", he defended himself by saying that he left Suzuki behind because he wanted to give new singers like Mamale & Depitcho, that Suzuki already went 15 times to Europe so it was time to give other singers a chance. He also added that he already left Eric Tutsi & Babia Ndonga "la voix du siècle" and that Quartier Latin isn’ only about person, but a team where they complete each other "Académie des Grands Bakala". The video some people believe the story, until months laters when that a VHS got released where Suzuki explained the real story and how he got arrested in Cameroon (sleeping in jail) and again in Brazzaville, when trying to get back in Kinshasa. It came on a wrong moment, because it came out when Academia got founded and people hating Koffi about the way he was mocking Wemba & Nyoka Longo.

Apparently, but on the end Koffi became mad about Binda Bass (I don’t know for what reason). Which made him leave Binda behind for the last Africa-tour before Olympia (going to Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya). But he hadn’t applied a visa for Rocky Blanchard. We wanted to get Rocky Blanchard in Europe with Binda Bass’s passeport but it wasn’t possible since that they were blocked in Kenya (they couldn’t return to Kinshasa because the civil war started). So they to Europe without him and Modogo, Rosette Kamono & Binda Bass who were in Kinshasa joining them later, missing the first concert which was at La Madeleine in Brussels (which was like a test before Olympia), Somono would come on his own (missing the Olympia-show).

After Zenith, Koffi would call Rocky Blanchard to team up with Eric Tutsi to recruit new musicians in Oshwe, when being informed that some members were about to leave. Rocky Blanchard to do that job and get his place back as Koffi’s favorite (Koffi prefering him above Binda) getting also some space to speak in the “Droit de Veto-VHS", but would go quickly wrong with Koffi after a conflict. Months later he would be contacted by JF Ifonge & Depitcho to recruit musicians along with Ondo, but they would never come. After that he got contacted by Koffi again who came from Bercy, getting the role as reserve behind Binda and contributing alot in the preparation of Effrakata. But he would be left behind again by Koffi.
