Did he ever disclose why he left Cultura? He participated on Viva Tendance album that same year. I was always curious why he ran away after the success of Yo Nani

He left because they weren't paid well, wasn't liking the way Wazekwa's staff were behaving  and the way Wazekwa wasn't trusting him anymore from the moment that he suspected him for wanting to run away, when they once went to London.

In the same interview he talked about Mamale, Eric Tutsi and CNN's arrival in Cultura and the problems that it caused inside the band and how CNN stole their cries to use it later in Volte Face. Which forced them to modify the generic while they were in Europe (Nono Chaka and another atalaku in Kinshasa sending cries to them).

I wonder how leadership suspects defections, are musicians showing up late to concerts? Or is it staff members gossiping to the boss about musicians complaining? I've always been curious

Stafff members, sometimes musicians snitching each other either for real or creating it,and also donors who the musicians go to live with
for example the case of fally and his guys here,he is surely already awre of possibilty of guys leaving and when its like that leaders start mind games with you
