What if Depitcho doesn’t show up for the second part

I'm surpised, after all those years, that the famous trip to South Africa was a big mess and them all ending up in prison for a month. Because the way they used to brag on tv about that stay, made it look like everything went perfect. It's very humilating for a guy in the 20s who's lives on his own to return to his parents home, because of being broke. Depitcho was really lucky that his father was rich. The thing he told about the spiritual attack he received and the way he refused to stop music, because of the temptations of fans who are following you, made me think about how bandleaders live.


Those years 1994-1996 were really frustating for El Paris. Being blocked in Kinshasa and the rivals (Wenge 4x4) going on tour in Europe twice (1994 & 1995) but them not being able to move. El Paris almost getting a thrid smack, when Wenge 4x4 was about to tour for Feux de l'Amour (1996) and them decided to flee to South Africa, just avoid another humilation. Some fans in meantine getting frustated others even moving to the rivals or other bands. People saying on the streets that they were cursed lol, because they were rehearshing at the rehearshal-place 1-2-3 which used to be of Franco Luambo. Others saying that their rivals went to the Congo-river and put their name under a stone along with a big bandleader who went down in the same era and wasn't able to return back anymore to get his trone, hahahahahahaha Kinshasa with his radio-troittoir.

Those old Wenge 4x4 and Wenge El Paris videotapes of that era are very rare. I'm still looking for the one of Wenge 4x4 being broadcasted on TF1, their first concert in New York, the one they did at Studio Maman Ngebi in 1993 after Kalayi Boeing and Their first concert in Europe of the 1994-tour at LSC or La Madeleine (I don't remember its already more than 25 ago). Not forgetting the tapes of El Paris at Intercontinental, Tele Zaire, Palais du Peuple and the Nganga Nzambe-concert in Paris, (which looked like 2 bands performing, Ricoco doing his songs and Marie Paul those of his album).

Well, that's always the problem with Ado Yuhe when he interviews musicians. His interviews with Beniko Popolipo, Koffi Olomide, Sam Mangwana, Dello Bass and many others were also dissapointing. He only likes polemique. For example, when Depitcho mentioned JDL's name, saying that he used to play the keyboards in El Paris and Ado Yuhe just standing like 3/4 min on that point (repeating nini ?), just wanting to create polemic. Depitcho then answering that it isn't a problem, adding that Bimi Ombale (a Zaiko legend) used to be drummer before being a singer, but Ado Yuhe not knowing him while he's a musical journalist.

But why did Aime Buanga give up El Paris so easily despite being the founder?

apart of the fact they became too much big egos and stars in a same group and had to split in two groups one behind marie paul depitsho,one behind aime and ricoco,aime seems naturally like that he does not hang on to things which can explain his irregular career,he seems in constant need of change unlike guys like jb or werra who had it clear that they would fight to become strong leaders and stay in that until their last breath
aime on the other hand does not mind at all having to try something else,blaise bula is a bit like that too,they are not obsessed with music and success
imagine blaise is in kin,but doing music is still not his first job,he is director of a restaurant and music hall and spends most of his time in that
