D.V. was born in the 50s while Franco is born 30s. Back in Congo/Zaire back in the days, you couldn't be friends with someone who's ages olders or younger than you. It was already a problem if someone was 3 years older than you. They were doing that because to avoid that younger people would disrespect them, having mostly a brother-relation with the youngster just coming for advice or help and having to call them yaya or kulutu. All those things started to change from the 90s/2000s. Didn't you see when the JB vs Werra started, that Werra-fans used to say that Werra was never friends because of him being muana 65 and JB muana 67.
