Exactly, @archos. Koffi has so many flaws as a human being but we are not here to sanitize people's morals. After all are we saints ourselves? This is a music forum so let our analysis/criticism be based on his music. I, personally am a Koffi fan and became a rhumba fan 26 years ago the moment I heard Papa Bonheur playing on radio and loved his rhumbas ever since(of course till BEK).  Even then I have repeatedly said his music after BEK is crap because it is his music that I care about. He has lost his edge and let Cindy overshadow the whole band. Still it is not my place to pass judgment on his soul because I aint God. And when you become too personal, you leave a sour taste in your own mouth once the adrenaline high you get from insulting the man is gone and you ask yourself "Was all that bile worth it?"

If you don't want to pass judgement, that's your right. But don't try to police other people's opinions, especially when they are just expressing what they are seeing without being insulting or mean.

I can agree or disagree with another poster. But I will not try to stop him from commenting on a certain artist because he's harsh. That's the difference. This is the truth.

Some Koffi fans, some Werra fans, and some Fally fans want to make their guys like they are Jesus and can do no wrong. That is the truth. Papa Wemba deserved criticism as well as Kester Emeneya as well. They were not saints. They did wrong and they deserved severe criticisms. I find it funny to make Kester Emeneya was this great saint but he was not at all. Sure, he did not go as far as Papa Wemba in his early days but Kester did do some shady shit himself.

Back to Werra, Fally and Koffi. They deserve criticisms. Werrason is known to put conflicts among musicians and that is why things end so badly such as recently singer Ronaldhino leaving the band. We know that Fally uses journalists and bootlickers to attack anyone including even his former boss Koffi. Koffi Olomide just wants to attack anyone for sometimes worthless reasons and sometimes he acts like a lunatic or a little child which is very sad.

Stop making these musicians like they are saints. None of saints. What you can debate who is worse, Werrason, Fally Ipupa or Koffi Olomide? That would be a better debate.
