The history would have been different if Ricoco dediced to travel with them to Kinshasa. You could see that Ricoco was still the main star despite the presence of Marie Paul and the succes of Nganga Nzambe.

Yeah, they splitted in two because of Molangi ya Malasi. Zing Zong & Marie Paul didn't want to perform one year long those songs (also being influenced by people coming from Bandal, not being happy that the band was dominated by donors and fans from Matonge which was Ricoco's area  and especially Francis Kalombo who was manipulating them),  Aime Buanga and Ricoco wanted to let people enjoy the album one year and after it focussing on the group-album which had to have 8 songs (2 each for the bandleaders Marie Paul, Aime Buanga, Zing Zong & Ricoco). That's why Marie Paul & Zing Zong left and went to form their own Wenge Aile Paris and record Nganga Nzambe with help from Djudjuchet, they were later joined by Jus d'Ete Mulopwe who was fired by Ricoco for stealing his girlfriend Beloti (that French woman who was used to dance with them). But Ricoco would later also end up by joining Marie Paul's camp after a conflict with Aime Buanga and was supposed to sung lead on Zing Zong's song Decepta, but Zing Zong was still mad at him, which made Jus d'Ete Mulopwe singing lead and Ricoco just doing some shout-outs and singing in the chorus of it and also on the chorus of Kodi Porto. Not long after that Marie Paul managed to lure J.F. Ifonge & Cesar Loboko. Then when Kongolo Mobutu's contract came, both camps were performing in concerts on the same stage (Marseille, Brussels, Lille,..). But Aime Buanga just on Ricoco's songs. On the end Ricoco didn't travel with Marie Paul, being influenced by Aime Buanga.
