I think that he left, wasn't following Zaiko alot anymore. I was more Quartier Latin.

In an interview he made I think 5 years ago with Johnny Yayimpie, he said that his wife brought him to Europe after the suspension of 1994, after recording secretly an album with Adamo & Baroza. Saying that he could return like Baroza & Adamo, but that he knew that he would record again an album, giving the example of Baroza who recorded an album "20 Ans Saisie en Douane" and got fired when Nyoka Longo discovered, since that it was the second time that he violate the rule of not recording an album. In the same interview he said that when Zaiko arrived a few months after that in Europe, that he participated to the recordings of Avis de Recherche and a few concerts, since that he prepared the album in Kinshasa. But what I don't understand is that, I saw a video on youtube of a few years ago, Malage singing with Zaiko at Variete Samedi Soir where they presented Avis de Recherche, but without Baroza and the then new solist Volvo 840 already having Zaiko to replace him.

Was it this concert? Baroza played on that concert Boanga Omer was absent.

He was in Zaïko I think his last album was recorded when Zaïko came back to Europe and Baroza became a session guitarist.

No, they recorded the album of Baroza when they were on tour for Avis de Recherche, my cousin was even present when they recorded the album in 3 days. Albums like that are always released 3/4 months after after the tour. When Zaiko came in 1996 they were with Petit Poisson.

Okay so he recorded in 1995 then the producer of Baroza album released in 1996.

Its like Popolipo & JP Buse's album who got released months later and themselves not being aware about it, until that they came once to Brazzaville and getting surpised with the chiefs giving JP Buse's a 6 months suspension.

I mean it's one thing getting surprised surely they planned how they wanted to be released.

Most nzong-nzing albums who are made in Europe, had often problems with the distributon. It is because of them are in the most cases, not produced by professionals. Sometimes you got albums who get released 2 years later.

About JP Buse's album it was only released officialy in Europe. The young Jean Pierre Bemba had to help JP Buse to come with some dics in Kinshasa and find a someone to do the distribution, but Jean Pierre Bemba never came with those discs. The album was a huge succes in Europe, and also Francophone Africa who had a piracy-version of it. A lot in Kinshasa didn't know about that album, until that JP Buse was invited at video45 (television progam in Brazzaville) to talk about his departure after getting suspended.

When JP Buse sung that playback the crowd rushed towards to him it's funny he said for the Japanese tour they ended his suspension.
