The first time that Werrason missed the opportunity to perform at l'Olympia was in 1999. After the event at Villejuif (the fara-fara against JB at Zenith), which was a date that they set as test in the case that they would not get visa's for the Schengen-area, he had to perform at Olympia. But Wemba planned a concert at the same date at the huge Forest National (8,400) in Brussels, wanted like his Zenith the support of the whole Congolese community living in Europe and was scared the he may not sold out the hall, like JB Mpiana who performed the same day at Zenith when Werrason performed at Villejuif. Which made Wemba's staff contact that of Werra to cancel the event and set another date. Just after that he Werra got contacted by Claude Mussay & Dario Kindongo who wanted to let him perform at Palais des Sports (The duo was exploring musichalls in Paris, who weren't known in the Congolese community, they were the same guys who came with Cabaret Sauvage and Theatre Gynmanse Marie Bell). Werrason accepted the offer and to calm the fans in Kinshasa down, who were furious since that Olympia was the most awaited event of Werra in 1999, he said that the hall is to small and they could celebrate Ferre's or Lacoste's birthday there. Adding that if he would ever perform at Olympia, it had to be for one week. Behind the scenes Werrason wanted then to have Olympia as the first show of the next Europe-tour. However, the hype about the way Koffi was promoting his show at Bercy was strong and how JB's Zenith gained alot , despite the biais before the release of the videotape. It made fans of Zamba Playa, just before Werra's Stade des Martyrs of 2000, request a vote of between Zenith, Bercy and Olympia for Werra's next show in Europe. Most fans ended up by voting for Bercy, which made Werrason decide to perform there.
Years later in 2007, the project of Olympia repeappeared again when Werrason signed with soccerplayer Nicolas Anelka's
recordlabel to record a worldalbum, which he first named Arche de Noe before renaming it Sans Poteau/Simply the Best of "Volume 1". The plans were to have a double Olympia-event in the summer of 2007 (Werrason having the wildest dream, when signing the contract, to perform years later at the Wembley Stadium in London like his idol Michael Jackson lol). But Werrason wanted to return to Kinshasa first and release the album. Being focused on Temps Present/Mayi ya Sika, the double event got postoned to the summer of 2009, when he came for Zenith de Paris. But for whatever reasons things went wrong with Werrason, his manager M. Rouvroy and the recordlabel (I guess it was due to Werrason not listening to him and preferring Bralima-concerts in Kinshasa instead of focussing on his worldmusic-career) and his worldalbum didn't got released officially. Because of Werrason promoting his double Olympia-event alot before Malewa, people excepted him to perform there after Malewa, but instead of that he went to perform at Zenith again in 2010. Because of the demand of fans being high for Werra to do the double Olympia-event, Diego Music came like Zenith with a contract through Meganet for a double Olympia-event in December 2010. Wanting to release Malewa vol. 2 before the event, demand from donors to record more songs, made Werrason add and record other songs in Kinshasa, at the same Bralima requested Werra to release a single for them first. Being scared and hearing that Ferre would do a double-Olympia, he once said in an interview, that he would perform a week at Olympia if somebody would dare to steal his idea to do double-Olympia. Then when Werrason came in 2011 to tour and finish Malewa volume 2, the concert-ban started and the Olympia-project occulted again.
