13ans was the first song back in the day when I where I thought the amount of mabangas was really excessive. That was precursor to what we are used to now

The mabangas in Nostalgie still passes me off. From start to finish he's saying names, no pauses whatsoever. As if the mabanga was just inserted without any consideration to the main lyrics and refrains

Maman Mabe was worst of all songs in A la Que Leu Leu. It was like Nsone didn’t want that song to succeed, reading a whole list from start until the end.

And I believe Examen was riddled with mabanga as well, as you guys would say. I guess everyone must've been turning up to Werra's doorstep, begging him for a libanga, he tried to satisfy his customers and the end result was... A La Queue Leu Leu. Still a solid album with a solid band but let's be real, it hasn't exactly aged well, has it?

Some songs sound ok still, but others are plagued with that terrible sounding "tin can" programmed snare tuning that Al Nzimbi thought was a good idea at the time

The generiques/sebene still sound great though - Papy Kakol, Celeo, Mimiche (RIP), and Bill really did their thing

albums like this one,kipe ya yo of jb,l'album du patron lead to some serious mabanga upset,there were many who did not make it on albums despite paying(i think a lot of the first wave of combattants came from that and the ngulu issues)
i wont be surprised if it exists a bit too in the fally ferre generation

In this interview Werrason gave the reasons that it was due to his own musicians (Baby, Bill, Celeo, Ferre, etc.). Some giving him 60 names, others 70, etc. Werrason then prefering to do their mabanga on his own, saying that people wouldn't  listen if they did it by themselves. He blamed Jacquie Wantunda for pushing him to still do those mabanga's instead of skipping it. But I won't be surprised if he lied kiekiekie

About Double Zénith, I think that he wanted to make his mistake of Bercy up. There was a point of him receiving all fanclubs and influent donors on stage when singing Destin ya Moto. ​Bercy also received fanclubs and influent donors, but that was towards the end when the show ended, most spectators leaving the music-hall and him regretting it. But he did that because he didn't want them to disturb the choreographies which was often the case in concerts of his rival JB Mpiana.
