What was the money bandlears were getting from Bralima, Bracongo and Vodacom in the 2000s to perform at their villages at the Foire International de Kinshasa (FIKIN) ? With those huge crowds coming, was it lucractive to perform there like performing at Stade des Martyrs and l'Esplanade de Palais du Peuple or was it just peannuts like those concerts at Grand Hotel de Kinshasa and Cinemax?

it was not lucrative in itself but as many had deals with them they were getting their biggest bonuses in that period but in reality not lucrative it was just that instead of taking their special bonus in march for example,they'll take it at the fikins which would make  lets say 30K 40k including the concert fees

Pffff it was not interesting to be an artist based in Kinshasa and  a nightmare if you don't aren't sponsored by Bracongo and Bralima. Totally opposite of the image they were given of us, being rich, having plenty girls, cars and villa's. A whole year with concerts who are peanuts and if you are lucky, you're getting a contract for Kenya, Ivory Coast, Zambia or Congo Brazzaville ??!!! Those bandleaders are stupid to not unite and stand up to fix those issues of payment of artists rights. The population living in the Democractic Republic of Congo is ppor, but they can still be millionaires without touring Europe, if those problems are fixed. If they collect the money of all radiostations, bars, tv-channels, companies in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Goma, Bukavu, Kisangani, Matadi and the rest of the country playing their music, they won't envy the popstars living in France, Italy, U.K. and Germany anymore and stop that childish behaviour of messing someone contract for a concert abroad up.

What about performing at Zenith de Paris, Olympia Bruno Coquatrix and Bercy ? I saw an article saying that rappers like Nekfeu, PNL, Ninho would earn between 30.000 and 40.000 for one concert-date at Zenith de Paris. Do Congolese artists at least get the half of the amount, because when French rappers or American artists perform there, the price of the tickets are 2 or 4 times higher.

It smees that the concerts during Europe-tours after Zenith/Olympia/Bercy weren't at all lucrative, but bandleaders and tourpromoters multiplying and planning concerts everywhere where a huge Congolese community live just to make their musicians being able to get money from fans and pay cars, while they could already return after 1 or 2 months.
