About Alain Mpela saying that Marie Paul went in his place to Europe, I don't believe him. I had never seen him singing in those big concerts they made in 1990 at Intercontinental, Palais du Peuple, la Voix du Zaire, FIKIN and Nsele. It was always Marie Paul-Werrason-JB Mpiana-Blaise Bula, also Marie Paul used to be chef de discipline. I started seeing Mpela when Wenge came back from their tour and though that he just joined. It's only years later when laforcetranquille uploaded on youtube Wenge performing at someone's party , that I realized that Mpela joined alongtime ago, seeing him singing along Manda Chante and Marie, having reserve-players like Patient Kusangila, Collegien and Dello Bass.

Yep. Also that’s partly his fault because he didn’t have the solo career many of us expected when he was still in Bcbg. But to this day there’s no one that has had so much influence and freedom as a chef d’orchestre like Alain Mpela did, The guy is a complete musician.

Yeah its partly his fault  his exaggerate taste of luxury and staying in europe went against him and his lack of resilience too,because he might use the excuse of bcbg's donors going against him and things like that but his two pire petits fally and ferre are who they are today because they took the challenge for a couple of years to have all sorts of attempts to hijack their process of debut of solo career
 he was indeed soooo influential,maybe if bcbg did not have the ban and they did not start to fallout with jb over who we know's gossip we'd have seen at a big european concert a whole part of him leading a show within the concert
when the private issues hit jb at first,he was ready to give the group to him for a couple of months,that shows the level of trust he had in him as a chef d'orchestre,only ferre i think and to some extent joss came close to that level of freedom and handling responsability for the boss

Yeah Alain also had a promising group that could’ve done big things, since he has an eye for talent.

I also heard through my uncle that Koffi was considering giving Fally the whole group QL should he retire, but then as we know Fally left which is one of the biggest reasons why QL doesn’t operate like it did before, because I don’t think he ever considered handing over the group to someone else before and now he protects himself from getting hurt like that again.
