This concert made people in Europe respect Academia even more, they already had a fara-fara with Wenge Maison Mere in Brazzaville (which they also won), but now people in Paris saw with their own eyes how Academia showed his superiority against them. Wenge Maison Mere played that day also in Paris, but wasn't able to sold out their venue (the first concert without Adolphe, it's also on youtube).

They did well to not put Abel Benz's vocal in Colation. Listening to his vocal, was he the second singer to be recruited by Academia in Congo?  getting the privilege to go immediatly with them to Europe, because of being Bozi's son ? While the other recruited musicians had to wait 9 months to come. It would not surprise me, if they profited twice to bring ngulu's to Europe by using their passeports before the tour of Viagra.

I think that it was better if the late Lebou Kabuya also included the guitar-parition from 25:09 in Colation, instead of switching to the distortion part which he did in the cd-version. Wonder why he immediatly gave his guitar to Pitshou when Franc Congolais was about to dance.

Whats a fara-fara ?

A fara-fara is when two artists / groups performed against each other in the same scene / area

I think Abel was already in Europe when got him and they only recruited him because he was Bozi's son and Bozi gave Academia his blessing and support so it seems they recruited Abel as a favour.

Despite a few mistakes, I think that this is the second best concert of the tour after the LSC of November 2000. Why were there to many mistakes between Tshe-Tshe le Balle and the lead guitarists (Lebou & Pitshou) and the sound. Did they party before the concert ? Abilssi wasn't really anywhere compared to the first LSC, I really wonder what happened (maybe something about moto, since that the competition between high tenorists).

Someone should just ask him... where is he now?

He's Paris, just doing some normals jobs and sometimes playbacks and small concerts with former Extra Musica-musicians in France. Still don't understand why Sam started to promote Abel Benz more than Abilissi. I heard that he was working on his album, but like many European based musicians, it isn't still there.

Loool Abel was promoted because of his father plain and simple it was simply politics. I remember Abel also participated in Academia's reunion a couple of years ago. But to be fair I didn't mind his vocals in Love Story and Reflexion but he still wasn't a good singer.

Another thing Modogo and Somono constantly openly praising and calling Sam “Mon President” really fuelled the leadership wars to another level, it just made them look like normal musicians. No wonder why the band imploded not too long after ahh

hahhahaha one of my cousins in kintambo witnessed when somono and sam had conflict in kin about primus deal and how somono for two three days was running with arrows dressed  like a traditional chief in the main avenues of kintambo looking after sam and singing traditional songs like he is cursing somebody :D :D :D :D
man somono is something else, the anecdote of him breaking stairs over argument with passekosse says it all
if even sam and modogo fought and did not talk to each other for years it says a lot, modogo has a lot of respect for sam as his big bro and former president in street groups

Loool I wish I could’ve witnessed that scene of Somono dressed like a chief, I remember when Bouro revealed it in his interview with Ado Yuhe loool. Would you say that Somono really did curse Sam because after he left the group collapsed a year later with Sam being stuck in Europe.
Imagine having Somono and Kusa in the same group at the same time ehhhhh  ;D :D

Its not impossible, after yasham went back to europe he had strange pimples for about 4 months he had to treat with kisi ya bokoko, difficult to say100per cent due to that, but what is certain is that somono pronounced spell on whoever would still eat from the name academia since he was the founder
