Jeannot mbonda who was in extra musica international explains that he was in groupe super ocean with biscuit des ecoliers then they went to extra musica just before the split and they followed quentin into extra international(biscuit then got spotted by papa wemba who took him back to kin) and when the group had their first official big concert it had arafat and etats unis as the animation duet and they had a big impact and news reached extra zangul and papy jah was sent  to lie to him that they had to return to their home town dolisie for funerals and he ended up at roga's house rehearsing with them,and jeannot says that it almost created street wars since war was not over in congo for that much long so people still had weapons and stuff like that in some houses and they were ready to fight each other,until quentin stepped in to calm things and say let him remain there
i think their duet would have been better than the one with zaparo

I always thought Papy Jah and his brother Arafat joined them because they were left behind when Extra Musica International went to Cameroon & Europe for the super helico's album. I'll watch this interview later on tonight

Huh? Papy Jah and Arafat are brothers? What for real?

They aren’t brother, they are both from Dolisie. They knew each well because they started music there and their families are known.

Papy Jah was already in Extra Musica before the split along with Papy Bastin. They were both recruited by Quetin Moyascko. But they prefered to stay in Extra Musica Zangul along with the other reserve musicians. Then when Extra Musica returned after finishing Etat Major, they became first team members. Arafat joined them later.

If I remember well Biscuit des Ecoliers said that after his failed test in Extra Musica. He went to other bands of Brazzaville before going back to Kinshasa for a moment and that when he was about to do a test in Extra Musica Zangul during the Shalai days, he ended up by joining Nouvelle Ecriture.

All people close to Extra Musica International talk about the Super Helico concert at Palais du Parlement. But there isn't any footage of it on youtube. I really wonder how that atalaku duet of Etats Unis and Arafat was. Both guys also ended up by animating together in Extra Musica Zangul for a short time, but not for long because Arafat would end by leaving.
